~~~What I Spotted Today, ONE Tulip, and some Fish!!!~~~
Today was a beautiful, sunny day, 69 degrees and a perfect day to be outdoors. So, out I went after laundry and vacuuming.I was SO excited to see ONE tulip that the deer didn't eat! You can see that they DID chew on the leaves but it survived!!!! It is such a pretty color. I used to have about 10 of them here in this spot:(
 Now, out back, in the woods a HUGE tree came down. It is totally uprooted!!!! It is probably about 50 feet tall, or WAS.
 You can see how big it was. Thank God it wasn't near the house.
 When it fell, it broke in several pieces...here..
 and here.
 Here is a shot of the whole thing.
 I also noticed that more fish were swimming around. The pond will be all cleaned up in a few weeks and look MUCH better soon!!! Stay tuned:):) There is more tree work to be done so we are waiting til that is completed to clean the pond.
 I counted 9 fish today and here are 8 of them.
Hope you all have a GREAT weekend!!!! Thanks for leaving a comment, I always read every one. XO, Pinky
  2. So glad your tree didn't fall on your house! Yikes! Those darn deer!!! They've found my hostas already. If they eat any more, I'm tempted on finding someone to poach them on my property!
  3. Good thing that tree was not close to your house, Pinky. I am so afraid of trees falling especially when there is a storm cause I always see fallen trees around here...Christine
  4. I'm glad to see that you have at least one tulip left! The deer are unbelievable here too! Sometimes the bulbs get eaten even before they sprout! We have so many fallen tree limbs too and it is time to start cleaning up! Linda
  6. Hi Pinky! Look at your little fish! I've never had a fish pond!
    I got those dishes years ago at Ross and have a few other pieces too.
    Thanks for popping in and have a wonderful weekend.
    Be a sweetie,
  7. I guess I'm lucky the deer haven't visited my tulips or my hostas.
    That tree was pretty dead from the looks of it! We have them come down next to us in the woods too. Sometimes I worry about one hitting the house, but I try not to think about it too much! I guess all you can do is put some wire cage material around your tulips when they are coming up to try to prevent them from being eaten! Luck you being in the upper 60's!
