~~~I Think I Just Might CROAK!!!!
Well, not really!!! But, because we are having the most glorious weather after Irene, I decided we needed a calm, restful dinner al fresco. I have several frog inspired accessories so decided to do a table outside near the pond where we hear the frogs croaking every night!!! There are alot of pictures because the sun was casting BEAUTIFUL shadows and the light kept changing so I kept snapping away!!!:):)
 When we dine out here it is like being in a tree house! We are really surrounded by trees, as I showed you yesterday.
 These GORGEOUS frog napkin rings were a GIFT!!! Do any of you remember Linda from RMS (Bellesmom)???? She sent these to me several years ago! I LOVE them! They have beautiful little beads on them too. I haven't heard from her in a while and miss her!
I used some of the flowers from the bouquet Joe sent me . They still look pretty!!!!!
 This is the candlestick.
 I think frogs are kinda cute, do you???
 We each also have a frog tea light holder.
 Of course, green glasses for our drinks.
 Beautiful alstromeria. It is in the lily family.
 This is an ivy plant that lives out here on the deck. It has a little frog stuck down into it too!
 I LOVE this pot!!!!
 He is so happy that it has cooled off he is smiling:):)
 I used a plaid/striped placemat, my white chargers that I love, my green square plate, white embossed salad plate, and the flowers make up the last layer. The creamy flatware is from Target.
 These pillows pick up the colors in the flowers so nicely.
 As you can see, I at first had used a different napkin ring then REMEMBERED my frog napkin rings!
 I layered 2 cut work napkins, a green and a white one and fluffed them out. It is such a pretty look.
 I lit the candles for you!
 Yes, there was a beautiful BREEZE outside too!
 I love the ruffled edge of this vegetable bowl.
 I wish you could all join us for dinner!
 I feel so fortunate and still have the people who suffered loss and flooding in my thoughts and prayers.
 I forget where I got these and the candlesticks, sorry! I have had themn for several years now.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I will be joining these parties this week!!!
    The little frog is adorable.
    You know what, the first fish jug I saw was on Linda's place at RMS! I fell in love with them and just happened to run across a couple at a thrift shop and that started it! ;)
  16. Hi Pinky, your table is darling, your frogs are so whimsical.. Michael over at Gollum's loves frogs. :-)) I do remember Bellesmom..how is she doing? Isn't it funny how those RMS days seem so far behind us now?
    You asked about the dishes, darling I got them about 2 years ago from Walmart, left them in the box forever and was going to return them, then decided on a fluke one afternoon to hang onto them, I'm so glad I did. I hope you can find some. Oh did I mention I love the color scheme of your table? What a beautiful day you had for photos. hugs ~lynne~
  23. Hi Pinky,
    Love that name since pink is my favorite color. Love your table setting the frogs are a wonderful addition, very whimsical. Thanks for stopping by to visit our garden post. You asked about picture taking, I think the key is taking lots of pictures to get a few good shots. Also I spend a lot of time editing them, cropping straightening, etc. But it looks like you are doing a great job with your pictures! Please visit us again, Mom from Cottage and Broome.
  25. I have to agree with the other comments. Serene is the perfect word for this table. The setting is like a tree house. My favorite has to be the napkins and frog napkin rings. It's a challenge to do a centerpiece with an umbrella table but you did great!
  28. What a beautiful outdoor setting. You really do live surrounded by trees...so pretty! I love the candlesticks and the napkin rings, what a fun table! We are hot and steamy again in Illinois, high today is 100-ugh. I'm sure you are watching Katia. My daughter got back to Orlando, but she is on the hurricane team at Disney, so we are always very aware!
  29. Lovely! Very peaceful and calming after the stress of the hurricane. I hated being w/o power or phone, very nerve wracking!
    Looks like a delightful place to have dinner, and yes, the weather has been so nice. Another storm coming they say! :(
  32. What a cool table, Pinky! I love the photos where you can see the reflection of the trees in the tabletop! It kind of plays tricks on the eye! The cool greens here are wonderful, and I'm glad they fit right in with the more temperate weather you are now enjoying. Those striped placemats have such a soothing effect. I don't know what exactly it is about them, but they are really, really pretty to me. I love all the frogs, especially the napkin rings! I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend, Pinky! Take good care!
