Goodbye to 2011

Hello my dear friends!!! As this year winds down and we welcome a bright new year I want to THANK YOU all for being so supportive and helpful to me on this blogging journey! I have come to love blogging and this year will try to learn how to IMPROVE my blog. I am pretty computer illerate but am going to wotk on that! I want to change my header and the LOOK of the blog somewhat. I also look forward to sharing some new adventures that are coming our way. On 2/1 our daughter and SIL will be moving in with us! They just today signed the papers and put a down payment on their NEW HOUSE!!!!!! I am over the moon with happiness for them. It will be quite an adventure to have them and their 2 dogs here for an extended stay but I am GRATEFUL that we are able to be here for them and help them out in this way. So, please stay tuned, there may be alot of, I hope, fun to come! I also have some rooms to share and projects too. I wish every single one of you the happiest of new years and hope 2012 brings you health, happiness, prosperity and LOVE abounding!  I am awed by the friends I have made through this blog. You are all the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a SAFE New Years Eve if you go out. See you in the NEW YEAR!!!!!!
XO, Pinky

  2. Our family of 4 plus the big, fat cat lived with my parents for three months of 2009 in their barely 1500 square feet townhouse while our house was being finished. It was soooo cramped, but it was certainly a fun, memorable time that I'll always cherish. I know you'll enjoy (almost) every minute of your time together! Happy New Year to you!

  6. Pinky,
I've enjoyed following your blog (since I first discovered what a blog was back in March!), and I look forward to many more wonderful posts from you in 2012.
I'm still learning how to nicely format my blog as well, so you're not alone! I think your site looks wonderful.
Happy New Year to you and yours!

  9. Pinky! What fun you will have with daughter and SIL staying for a while. We made a little apartment in our garage to help mine out while SIL finished college (he finishes in May of this year and I'm NOT ready for them to be gone!) I can't wait to read about your adventure!

  10. Pinky, yes I have bulbs showing! I was kind of surprised, but I know they always seem to surprise me by how early they start emerging. We have had rather warm weather, but I think they're still on schedule. I tried to "follow' you, but I"m not sure it took. It's says it did on facebook (btw, my facebook says Amy Fowler because I'm not really interested in being on facebook, I just wanted to have a Pinterest acccount! Maybe you have to ok it? Just thought I'd give you a heads up incase you didn't know the name.
