Framing Delivered!!!! And, redoing garden beds

 Hi everyone! I am quite excited because on Friday I went by the lot and the framing is all delivered and the construction manager said they will lay the steel beams and begin framing TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOO HOO, it is moving along! There is ALOT of wood do be put up.
 The garage is poured.
 These are the steel beams that will hold the house up:)

 Back at home, Joe has been working on redoing aot of the beds that were messed up for the septsystem. He redid this circle in the back, moved an azalea from another spot and transplanted some ferns from other spots. Then we put some impatiens around the circle for some color.
 The tip of this bed is where that azalea was. It had to go for the septic pipes.
 Back by the house Joe added some ferns and hostas.
 That same spot, looking down from the deck. See all the leaves that are falling? It is like FALL here but too darn HOT!!!!
I am PRAYING that someone will come LOOK and the house soon. It is TOO QUIET here. We need people to come and fall in love and buy..... Til next time, XO, Pinky

~~~Waterproofing the Foundation!!!~~~
 Good Wed. morning my friends! I know this may be boring to some of you but some have asked to please keep them posted on the new house . So, this morning Joe went and met with the construction manager, because he wanted to make sure the drain pipes were placed where he wanted them. He is planning to build a bar in the finished part of the basement and we will have a sink, fridge, dishwasher and ice machine so the drains had to be in the RIGHT SPOT!!! Whew, they are!!!! At least ONE thing has happened correctly!
 That pipe you see sticking up is what he wanted to check.
 This side of the house will be my office, then a bathroom then Joe's office.
 Behind the offices is the great room.
 This is the east side of the house, where I plan to plant hydrangeas for morning sun!
 This is a plastic waterproofing material that they put all around the house, below grade.. We had never seen this before.
 So, this is where we are today. It is hard to believe that in a few months we will be living there!!! Thanks for stopping by. I will join a few parties:
~~~FALLING leaves.....in JULY???!!!~~~

 I know. Is this crazy or what? I guess because it has been so HOT and DRY....NO RAIN, the leaves are starting to fall already! You should see the driveway, it is even worse.
 This is what the deck looks like right now. And I swept it night before last!
 I don't remeber this happening this bad in past years at all.
 And this is the back yard today. The septic is done....well they thought it was done but now they have to come back for one thing. I won't even get into it. The whole thing is making me a bit crazy by now. And that pipe will NOT be sticking out of the ground like that when they finally do the final grading and seeding.
 Remember that the birdbath surrounded by flowers used to be here? And where that one lonely azalea now is used to be the BIG japonica bush. Joe is actually out there right now digging, edging and going to mulch some then we will plant some flowers in the circle around the azalea. The birdbath was a little to the right of where that pipe is now.
 See that pile of brances there? Joe discovered that they BROKE 2 large branches off the Japanese maple when they piled all the dirt. GRRRRRRR....
 They came off this bush:(:(:(
 This is the rhododerdrom that was lying on the ground for a week. I don't know if it will make it but we are trying.
 Joe is going to...
 cut off this big limb to give it a better chance.
So that is my update for today. On a better note, they are doing the under basement drain pipes today, at the new house, so tonight we will go out to see and I'll get some shots. Stay cool in this HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!! XO, Pinky

~~~FLOWERS for the coffee table!!!~~~
 Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are all having a good weekend. It is hot and HUMID here in Pa. It feels HEAVY when you step outside. But, just for YOU, I went out and cut some flowers for my coffee table.
 The hydrangeas are blooming profusely and they are all in different stages and colors but I just cut some blue ones for now. I have one bush that is already green! Way too early, so I guess I will start drying some now. I never do that til August or Sept. My lillies are still looking and SMELLING good so I also snipped some Rose of Sharon blooms.
 This is my faux hydrangea arrangement that I made several years ago, in a TINY urn. It is done on a styroroam ball and the pieces of hydrangea are cut apart. I then also added some creamy berries, that were on a garland and just cut that into pieces too. It adds just the right finishing touch, don't you think?
 If I ever find another tiny urn, I will do a tutorial for you!
 See how tiny it is.
 I added a glass full of Rose of Sharon too. for the vignette.
Thanks for stopping by. I will join these parties next week:
~~~Yesterday, I went "Yachting"!!!~~~

 HA!!! Gotcha with that one:):) Actually I went to my friends house and she has a pool. A beautiful pool and she invited a group of us for a little "wine and whine pool party"!! Only myself and my friend Wenda could make it but we had a great time! Janet has these blow up boats that we decided were our YACHTS:):) We floated around in the pool and talked the afternoon away. Isn't her pool pretyy! 2 years ago she had the bottom done black. It sure warms up the water. It was 86 degrees and just perfect.
 We first had a little lunch! I brought the shrimp and made Jacqueline's cocktail sauce from Purple Chocolate Home. It was YUMMY! I also sprinkle lemon juice over the shrimp and serve them with extra lemon wedges.
 Wenda brought a big turkey hoagie that we sliced into 4 servings since another girl was coming later.
It was a beautiful, relaxing afternoon with friends. Thanks, Janet!!!! XO, Pinky

~~~My New Find!!!~~~
 Hi everyone! I was out the other day, just browsing....HA!.. and found this wonderful bottle/vase! It came from TJMaxx. I just loved it and since all my bud vases are packed I HAD to buy it, right??? I mean I had this lily in a kitchen glass for heaven sake!!!  I love the rattan wrapping on it.  I think it could be used in so many ways. I put it on the coffee table in the living room so the HEAVENLY scent would be in there.
 It sits next to my faux hydrangea arrangement that I made severeal years ago. I wish I could find a SMALL urn like the one I did it in to do a tutorial for you!
 When I cut this lily some of the buds were JUST starting to open. In my haste I forgot to take the tag off the bottle:)
      Isn't God's artwork just amazing????
 Today all 5 flowers are open and the scent it just amazing. I sit on the sofa to read and am surrounded by the perfume of the lillies.
I will join Marty for Table Top Tuesday @ A Stroll Thur Life  Thanks for stopping by!!! Have a great weekend everyone. On another note they are still working on the new septic system but think they will be done by the end of today.......................I doubt it:):) XO, Pinky
