Christmas 2015!!!

I thought I would share a few shots from our Christmas. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We sure enjoyed being with our sweet Girl, Colleen! I got her a stuffed Rudolph and I think she liked it:):)
 Opening some other presents.
Getting CANDY from her stocking! Candy is the ONLY thing she asked for, and after she got it all out was perfectly content with just that:)
 Her candy loot:)
A Princess dress from Mommy and Daddy.
Another Princess dress. She probably had 5 or 6 outfits on that day:) You can see one of her new snow boots too;)
We got to swing outside with no jackets on Christmas!!! It was 70 degrees and muggy!
 Daddy, Colleen and Mommy!
All together before the gang arrived:)
Christmas dress from Gigi. It has a black sweater too but she didn't need that!
I have tons more pictures and am posting them on Facebook if anyone wants to see more:) Have a great week and soon we will be in a new year!!!

A Tartan, Woodland Table

I set a new table for our house tour on Friday night. I hope you saw the tour, it was posted yesterday. This is one of MY favorite tables this year, I hope you like it too! The plaid chargers are from Michaels. I LOOOOOVE them and am so happy I was able to get some! I wanted to make this table incorporate things you would find on a walk in the woods. I started with my plaid tablecloth and layered a burlap runner over that. My place setting is a square wicker placemat, the tartan charger, white embossed dinner plate, deer plate, tartan salad plate and a faux antler ornament.
I gathered a burlap napkin and a plaid napkin in a twiggy ring!

I birch birdhouse holds 2 red cardinals.
At each place stting is a tiny pot with greens, berries and a pinecone.

Pine cone votives sit on and overturned candle holder and a twiggy deer next to that.

Another birdhouse sits on a wooden slice.

The tired iron centerpiece is FILLED with pinecones, deer sheds, greens, nests and a pineapple for the symbol of hospitality.

A little bird flew right under this overturned glass that holds a larger pinecone candle.

I thought I would show you the plates that are under the plaid ones. I love this series from Walmart!

Thanks for your visit!!! Wishing you all a VERY merry and blessed Christmas!

Christmas House Tour, 2015

Good morning!! I know e are all wrapping up (literally) Christmas so I wanted to give you a little tour around my home. On Friday night we had our community house tour and I was one of the 3 homes. It was a lot of fun and I had I am guessing about 30-35 people through. I am just sharing part of the tour as it would be WAY too long in one post. I will keep sharing more photos this week (and probably next:) So here we go: Santa greets you inside as well as outside. Red candles flicker on the stairs.
 Looking from the front door.
To the right of the foyer is the dining room.  I will share details in another post. LOVE our new rug!
By the front door is this Joyce Ditz Santa and a grapevine santa on the door.
To the left of the foyer is this Santa picture from Kirklands
The railing is all done in sugared fruits, gold and some red. This year I added the animal print bows too.

The Hummel nativity is on the credenza. I will share some close ups later.

The tree in it's new position this year.
 Looking into the living room.

My round table holds some besnickle type Santas and one authentic one.

I have a THING for deer. Costco had a set this year and I am still kicking n
myself for not getting them:(:(

 Love the dancing deer.

The hutch in the breakfast room is all decked out for Christmas. Very edited from past years. I have given away a lot of things.
I set a "Woodland" table that I will share soon!
The one bathroom is dressed up too!

That concludes THIS part of the tour. I did the master bedroom and bath, upstairs and all of downstairs is also dressed up! Thanks for coming by!!!
