~~~ Longwood at Christmas, 2010~~~
This first picture is as you are approaching the entrance. I took ALOT of pictures! I am sorry some of the ones in the conservatory turned out very dark. It was hard to get a good picture in there. I was a little disappointed in the conservatory this year! It has been MUCH prettier in past years, but I hope you enjoy the pics. You can click on any picture to enlarge for a BETTER view!
 Walking towards the conservatory.
 There are hundreds of thousands of lights at Longwood each year!!!!!
 I am so disappointed that this one is blurry. These were my favorite trees, Red and white lights.
 Amazing.
 Here we are in the conservatory. Let's go  on a little tour.
 This tree is made of MANY pots of  cyclamen!
 Another huge tree.
 Here is the explanation for the tree in the pics above.
 Beautiful red poinsettias!
 My Joe.
 Guess who:):)
 Took this to show the size of the base to give you an idea of the size of this tree!
 An all white display that was very pretty. Loved these vases and arrangements!
 Orchids, lilies, etc.
 Everywher you turn is a beautiful display. Look at the hanging poinsettias!!!!!!! HUGE!!!!!
 Amarylis and dusty miller.
 A hanging Christmas cactus!
 The hallway of bonsai.
 A living wreath
 There are amny smaller trees decorated with handmade ornaments by elementary school children. So cute! This si just one example of many!
 Back outdoors. The fountain area. All green and blue.
 This is a HUGE tree all done in silver. I will show you the LARGE ornaments....
 Beautiful!
Hope you have enjoyed your tour of Longwood. We also went to Herr's Factory and I will post that tomorrow. It rivals Longwood for light displays!!!! Thanks so much for stopping by. Please leave a comment, I love reading them all!!!!! XO, Pinky
  5. Oooh, pretty! We live about 2 hours from Longwood Gardens - maybe that will be a holiday destination for us some year soon, when our kids are out of the house and our time is more our own. Thanks for sharing!
  7. Hi Pinky!
    Loved seeing all those beautiful flowers! I just threw my white poinsettias out, tired of picking up the leaves/bracts everyday.
    Looks like a fun trip!
