I deorated my kitchen for Spring a few weeks ago but haven't had a chance to share it with you, til now. I love changing out my accessories in the kitchen and morning room for the seasons. I have always done that. So, come on in and look around! This first picture is a piece I found last year and fell in love with. I placed it on a plate stand and a candle ring to give it some presence. Below is my FAVORITE Spring lamp, a beautiful birdhouse.
We will go around the kitchen now. I found this piece at Kirklands many years ago. Next to it is a pottery gardener lady from a local potter. Then I have a wax burner and my soap dispenser, another birdhouse!
A great smelling candle is always burning in this holder.
My utensil holder is always changing with the seasons.
Bee skeps are another favorite. This one sits on a grapevine wreath.
2 topiaries flank the stove.
This is the buffet area.
I found these little gardening urchins a few years ago at a local dept. store on clearance. I think I paid about $5.00 for all 3!!!! I added some nests and twiggy balls, a few TINY pots and a TINY shovel!!!!.
I made this birdcage several years ago.
The bird, birdcage, nest theme is a favorite of mine for Spring.
Thanks so much for your visit. This bird theme will be here for awhile til summer really sets in, then I will be changing it all out again, I am sure. XO, Pinky

ReplyDeleteHi Pinky, all of your spring decorations are so pretty. I especially like the green arrangement with the flower pot, cage and the bird, as well as the teeny tiny little flower pots and shovel...so cute! And how on earth did you make that bird cage? I would love to know! Your fireplace is really pretty too, it reminds me of the one we had in one of our previous homes...in fact, it looks exactly like it! Brings back a lot of fond memories. Thanks for your sweet visit to my blog. Have a great weekend!
