A simple "stack" of plates, just a white embossed dinner plate, my sunflower salad plate, and the brown stemmed sherbert glass.
I put a few faux sunflowers, some leaves and some pine cones in my cloche. The cloche rests on a sunflwoer plate that is also on a glass cake pedestal.
I wanted this table to be very organic so chose a burlap runner topped with a grapevine ball, some grassy stems and some pine cones.
My sunflower S and P.
One sunflower that has lasted for 2 weeks!!!!
I love the design on the runner, simple leaves.
And I chose these napkins because they seem to pick up the design of the edge of the runner.
Once again, I am using the handle on the charger as a napkin ring.
AHHHH.....
Golden glasses are ready for any beverage we choose.
I have a bucket of hydrangeas that I just got yesterday so decided to add one to the table for a little more organics.
I love how they all turn different colors:)
Thanks so much for your visit. I would be so happy if you left me a comment to let me know you were here. XO, Pinky

Oh Pinky, this is so beautiful. I love the individual flowers too and I love, love, love the way you have set the table on one side for the two of you. This is gorgeous. Thanks for joining Inspire Me. Hugs, marty
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunflower table, Pinky. I love the table and chairs too!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your hydrangeas!!!! Just missed you yesterday at National. We have to do dinner soon and catch up!!
ReplyDeleteLovely table, and it can take you right on into Fall if you want.
ReplyDeleteSunflowers are just such neat flowers love that one that is on it's way to opening.........
Beautiful runner too.
and just a really pretty table with your sunflower dishes, and nice you
can look out the window too.
Blessings, Nellie
Your sunflower table is so welcoming, Pinky! I usually love the green hydrangea stage too, but this year I'm not getting them--they are going straight to dark and dry from blue. I think they are still recovering form last summer's hurricane followed by blizzard. Your dining area is wonderful too. Linda
ReplyDeletePinky,
ReplyDeleteSunflowers are my favorite flower e v e r, dear friend
. . .so~o~o I'm lovin' this tablescape!!!
The single Sunflower bloom is adorable!!! With all our rain here on the Prairie, we've more Sunflowers in the patch than in years past. The addition of warmer temperatures have new blossoms almost daily!!!
Your Sunflower plates are the perfect size for breakfast or lunch!!! Stunning how you've set your table for two!!!
Your runner is quite versitile and the napkins compliment the runner supberly!
Thank you for sharing this Summer Fun tablescape!!!
Fondly,
Pat
We ended up right next to each other at No Mimalist Here -- I am quite envious of your sunflower accent plates! Lovely post.

I love your sunflower table, I have never done one and I always say I am going to but I probably haven't done one cause I have nothing with sunflowers on it...I just love yours, love the plates love the flowers and love the photos you took...not sure I could compete with that...Phyllis

I love the pretty rustic setting. I want your table, your chargers, your runner and your napkins!! They all look perfect with the sunflowers.
ReplyDeleteWhat cute sunflower plates. Can't help but smile just seeing them. That runner is so pretty, and you're right, the napkins look like they came with it as a set. Clever idea to use the handle on the charger as a napkin ring. Your table and chairs are so pretty too. laurie

ReplyDeleteThe sunflowers paired with the burlap and rattan chargers work beautifully together. I found my sunflower salad plates and a roll of burlap in my storage bedroom. I can't wait to set up the table for Our Sunday Brunch tomorrow.
