Fall Front Porch and Patio

There is a new linky party tomorrow with Porches Decorated for Fall so I thought I would share mine! We have a teeny, tiny entrance but I try to make the most of it. But then we built the patio last year and that is where the FUN happens:):) I am sharing both with you and will share some more tomorrow!! So, please come back!!! I love to make my home feel warm, cozy and inviting all the time but when Fall arrives it takes on new meaning. Ther change of the season makes me want to invite everyone to come share all this beauty!!! I bought this urn, new this year, and filled it with a caladium, some coleus and impatiens for the Summer. The caladium and coleus are still beautiful so I just added a gourd and a cabbage, which is FAUX!! The pumpkin is faux as well. This area gets NO sun so I don't put alot of real things here. The green plant is one of my houseplants that has lived out here all summer.
One of my mums, they are all blooming and may have to be replaced cause some are getting ragged:(
This year I put 2 of my black lanterns out here with LED candles in one of them and filled the other with Fall goodies. .
Some of these mums are real and some faux, can you tell the difference?
I still like my pumpkin patch fence that I got at a craft fair many years ago.
I stacked 2 hay bales and placed some more pumpkins on them, along with a pot of this pretty flower whose name escapes me right now! I remembered it is
Had to get a new flag this year and chose this to go with my lanterns.

 The front or the house.
I also added a mailbox swag this year.
Our grass is so green cause Joe has been WORKING on it. He spread 5 yards of topsoil and then reseeded.
A hanging mum greets us. I purposely bought one that is just in bud cause my SIL and her hubby are coming in 2 weeks and I want the mums to look nice then!

I made this wreath last year but still love it!

I got the rubber pumpkin mat at Kirklands this year and placed it on top of the mat that is always there.

Now we'll look around the patio. This time last year they were JUST building this! There were no flowers or plants yet!
The leaf pillows are from Kirklands too. They had great things this year!
I FINALLY made a stack of pumpkins! I have been wanting to do this for years!!!! One day I was at Lowes and they had all these pumpkins and I got them right in my cart!!!
LOVE this!!:) (If you are wondering, that is a rain barrel for topping off the pond water. Rain water collects in there and then Joe runs a hose to the pond)
Still my favorite twiggy bench from Lowes.

This is looking from our neighbors. The marigolds provide lots of beautiful color!

And this is a SNEAK PEEK at what I will share tomorrow:):) Stay tuned.

  13. You've got it looking fantastic both front and back, Pinky! I know you are just having a ball decorating for the season!

Your wreath from last year still looks top notch! You must have really babied it and stored it well. It totally retained it's shape and color!

I'm hoping to pick up mums tomorrow. I plan to get the unopened ones, too, because I want them to last until our party in October. I've been able to keep them looking alive and well clear to Thanksgiving some years if I take the time to really care for them. We'll be having dinner here this year, so I would like for them to still be in great shape.

I'm glad you explained the rain barrel. I've heard of them, but I don't think I've ever seen one. What a great idea! Very environmentally-conscious of you!

Fall is just about 38 minutes away now! Celebrate, and have a great week!!!
