A New Vignette on the Hearth

The warm weather has FINALLY arrived! We can sit out on our deck or patio again. This is so exciting for me! I got all the furniture out, the cushions and pillows have been placed, the accessories too. I also got my annuals and planted all my pots, which I will share with you soon. I also planted 54 annuals around the house and am getting a few more today! I got the idea for this vignette from my friend and fellow blogger, Shirley at Housepitality Designs. She has one of the prettiest homes I have ever seen and decorates it BEAUTIFULLY!!! She recently did a vignette on her hearth and it got me thinking about doing the same thing. So, I put one of my favorite blue and white jars on the hearth and proceeded from there. This particular jar came from a shop in Cape May, NJ many years ago. When I saw it I HAD to have it so carried it around with me all day long. I was much younger then:):)
I added this tiny pot with a faux water lily that I made many years ago too.
I glued this teeny frog onto one of the leaves. Our pond is right outside this room and we have frogs in the pond so it is fitting!
I added some faux ivy as another texture, my real ones are outside now. I tried several baskets for the background but liked how the color of this one blended in with the color of the stalks of the faux bamboo.....
 on these pots.
Some of you may remember these from the master in our old house.
I also flanked the hearth with blue and white jars.

I like this vignette a lot and will probably keep it like this for awhile. It can take me right through Summer.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are enjoying some beautiful weather now too! I will be sharing this at these fun parties:

I did a little blue and white vignette yesterday. I miss doing them, so I went ahead and did one even if there is more work to do on the house.:-)
