A Warm Fall Greeting

I realized I never shared the front of the house decorated for Fall.  I enjoy making it welcoming for anyone who comes to the front door. Welcome!!!
Since these pictures were taken, this flag blew away and was never found:( Hope to get a new one for next year! It is amazing how windy it gets here.
As you walk up the side walk a pumpkin, mum and tiny mum greet you. The tiny one is blooming like crazy now:)
Some lanterns to light your way up the steps.
I found these little cut out gourds several years ago.
One sits right on top of the lantern..

I filled the black lantern with pumpkins, acorns etc.
Another lamtern and faux mum since this gets no sun.
I dried some limelight hydrangeas and filled my urn with fall embellishments. The red impatiens still looks good.

Since I took these pictures the impatiens in the 2 pots got hit by the one night of frost and bit the dust:( The houseplant has been moved inside.

I never got around to making a new wreath for the door but I still love this one.

This mailbox swag has seen better days so will have to be replaced next year. The sun fades it a lot.

Thanks for your visit. I am late posting today as yesterday was VERY busy til late last night. Have a beautiful day.
XO, Pinky

  1. What a sweet entryway. It really is very welcoming!! I love the pumpkin mat in front of the door (along with everything else that is). xo Diana

  2. I just noticed your clay pumpkin & I have one almost like it. I have had mine for about 35 years & it's still in the original box. It says it was made in Georgia & I bet your's might have come from the same place.
