I showed you the guest bath in my last post so today I will show you the guest bedroom, AKA, Colleen's room:) I have plans to totally change this room but it will be a little while, probably in the Fall. This shot is from the doorway.
The room is a good size for guests, (or little girls:) I just added a few shells around to give a summer feel.
The blue and white print pillows are new this year.
I can't seem to pass up blue and white pillows...I am looking to see if there is a 12 step program for this addiction of mine;)
I love these lamps and they will be a real good fit in the new look in this room.
These 2 shell pictures were found at Kirklands several years ago.
The little round mirrors are part of a set of 5. The other ones are on the gallery wall I made of Colleens pictures.
A few shells are on the dresser. The starfish is hiding the camera, that we use to watch Colleen when she is here.
I have 2 of these pottery wall pockets; one is here by the door and the other is
here between the windows. It is impossible to get a good picture, sorry!
I added some blue hydrangeas and vine branches to the demijohn.

Yes, we have our home listed and yes, we will be downsizing and moving from IL.
We are empty nesters and we would like to move to a more temperate climate and get
away from the long Chicago area winters!
Not sure yet where we will be going but I will put it on the blog when we figure it all out!
