Winter in the Living Room

Good morning dear readers! I hope you all had a wonderful New Year, however you celebrated; either at home or out. Joe and I went to 2 parties. The second one was here in the neighborhood and so it was very nice to be right here to come home after midnight. Fun evening!
So, have you gotten your decorations all packed away? It has taken me 4 days and nights but it is finally done. I did some winter decor in the living room so thought I would share it with you all. This is a picture heavy post so please bear with me. The first picture is also edited since it turned out very dark even though the sun was pouring into the room.

The Santas are gone and my blue and white jars are back.
We remembered that we had a third wooden lantern so placed it here.

For the mantle I removed some of the garland and all of the reds and golds. Now it is just greens, magnolia leaves and pine cones.
One of my sweet deer sits in the middle. I added some styrofoam balls as snowballs:)
A vase with lavender on the hearth smells heavenly.

Some mornings I sit here with a cup of hot chocolate. I don't drink coffee.
I got a new pillow back in the Fall at an antique store that a friend told me about . I have been waiting impatiently to put it out:)
 I just LOVE it!
I also have 2 new faux fur throws for the sofa.
When I took these pictures the tree was still up. It is all packed away now.

At dusk the lights come on.

Blue and white pieces and Hummels fill the curio cabinet.

Our daughter gave this to Joe for Father's day one year.

This is a temporary vignette on the coffee table that will be changed out soon.
Some winter birds flew in to join the party:)

Thanks you so much for your visit. I took a little break after Christmas to be with family and friends but am now happy to be back!
