A Welcoming Front Entry

I got the front "porch" all ready to give a warm, Spring welcome to our guests. And that includes YOU!  So, welcome, I hope you will stay awhile.
I planted my urn with 2 different coleus, and an angel wing begonia. I also added some curly willow branches for height and drama. All of my flowers this year are either red or orange. I try to change things up each year.  Next to the urn is a large birdcage and..
2 bunnies. Also the pagoda lights up at night, on a timer.
Can you see the large, wooden bird in the birdcage? And she sits on a nest.
 On the other side..
A lantern sits on a stand with an LED candle on a timer inside. I found this cute chair planter this year and brought out one of my ivies from the house.
Another angel wing begonia is planted in this pot. I have had it for many years, it is pottery and I bought it at a juried craft fair. Another bunny, with her baby, sits below.
I got this houseplant from a friend when we moved in. It was a small piece in a tiny peat pot. It is growing so beautifully! I have to ask her what it is, I forget.
I planted 2 more pots on the corner of the sidewalk.
A new flag welcomes you too.
The green bushes are fully opened now.
And the azaleas are just starting to open.
The humming birds have returned too.
We brought this from the old house. I was going to try to scrub it but decided I like the character of it now.
Columbine, one of our favorite perennials.
The lily of the valley are about to bloom too.
 A tiny bleeding heart.

We are filling in the big rock garden area too. Each year we have added something new.
The peony is up and we put a cage around it to support the branches.
I am SO glad we told the builder from DAY ONE that we wanted to keep these 2 big boulders!!

We found this pretty number tile in Florida last year. Can you see the hummingbird?
I have been a VERY busy girl, planting lots of pots and flowers in the yard and on the back patio. I will share it all soon so please come back!!!
Thanks for stopping by. I want to wish all of you a VERY Happy Mother's day. I hope you get to be with your children and if you have them, grandchildren!!!
XO, Pinky

~~My server decorated for Spring~~~

HI everyone, this is what my server in the dining room has looked like all winter. I decided I needed to lighten up the look somewhat for spring and summer. These 3 pieces, I love. They are a beautiful color for the screen above and have the oriental touch I so love. This tea set is from Pier One! Many years ago.

I sit it on a small stand to raise it up a little.
These other 2 pieces came from Home Goods several years ago.

So, I brought in this flower arrangement and a LARGE birdcage. The Target S and P sit here now too.
I love the colors and the flowers, berries and twigs in this arrangement. It is in a footed urn that is a soft green metal.
Inside the birdcage is a LARGE wooden bird.

See the BIRD inside.....how could you miss him, LOL!

Close up of one of the tulips.

I really like this vignette for now. I love changing things around for the seasons. Thanks for stopping by. You can click on any picture to enlarge. XO, Pinky I am joining Susan at BNOTP for Metamorphisis Monday at http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/
