My Birthday Weekend!!!

Yes, we celebrated all weekend! My birthday was Fri. and several neighbor FRIENDS took me to lunch! It was so nice!!! I only have a picture on my phone and can't figure out how to get it on here, sorry! Then Friday night Joe took me out to dinner. Then all the girls who were at lunch and their hubbies came to our house for a little party! On Sat. we went to our dinner group. I took my camera but never got a picture. I am so bad! I guess I was just having too much fun:) On Sunday, we went to brunch with our daughter, son-in-law and Colleen! Poor little thing was sick but she was a real trooper and we got some good shots there! I love this child more than I can express.

Figured out how to get this on here. This was at lunch on Friday. The cake in front of me, we passed around to 7 girls 3 times!!! It was yummy!!!

Thanks for your visit!!! I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. I wish our son, Brian could have been here too, but he will be up for Colleen's birthday and Thanksgiving!!!!

OBX Wild Horses and Family Pictures

While on vacation at OBX, we drove onto the beach in my sons Jeep to see the wild horses. You HAVE to have 4 wheel drive to drive on that beach. We saw several cars that got stuck. The horses are beautiful and Colleen really enjoyed them. This may have been a family?

That night we TRIED to take family pictures but Colleen was sick of pictures.

She didn't want to do it.....that's ok, it's real life!

Our 4th of July Table..and more!

We had some friends over on Fri. night for an impromptu dinner of Band, bang shrimp, broccoli sald and bread. I decided to put together a 4th of July table...very quickly! I was so disappointed when I opened the tablecloth and realized it was vinyl:( So, please overlook that, I will be getting a fabric one ASAP!!!
