We had some friends over on Fri. night for an impromptu dinner of Band, bang shrimp, broccoli sald and bread. I decided to put together a 4th of July table...very quickly! I was so disappointed when I opened the tablecloth and realized it was vinyl:( So, please overlook that, I will be getting a fabric one ASAP!!!
White charger, red dinner, blue salad and star bread plates. Red flatware always comes in handy.
Blue goblets for our drinks.
Flag S and P found at CTS several years ago.
I brought one of my sun impatiens in and put it in this flag bucket, and added a flag for our centerpiece.
2 blue star candles
Oh say can you see!!!
Joe makes GREAT bang bang shrimp!!!
Yesterday, (Sunday), Colleen and Tracy came up and we all went to the pool. Then came back here for lunch and these were taken during lunch.
Checking out all the decorations
Yummy strawberries

Christmas Mantle and SANTA!!!
I have decorated our mantle with a new theme this year, this is the year of TREES! I have incorporated them all over the house. Some details of the mantle: Rose lights, berries,
gold branches and picks
pinecones and sticks, gold bead garland
and TREES!!!
Here is a view as you walk into the room. I am using my wreath with the grapevine deer again. I still love it.
the red and green trees came from Kirklands at 75%off last year,
the 2 gold trees are many years old but slim so perfect for a mantle
On the hearth are my 2 seeded deer, and one of the Polish Santas. They were made by a lady in Texas and he holds a doll from Krakow! The writing on the bottom of the doll is in Polish and says from Krakow.
This is a small Joyce Ditz santa, I love her santas!!!
He is riding a tricycle and has a basket of trees he is pulling.
The other Polish Santa is on the other side of the hearth.
This is my life size Ditz Santa! Isn't he amazing!? I love his kind face.
He is holding a lit tree and bag.
A rocking horse in the bag
and a tricycle
He greets all our visitors and I can see him from the kitchen. Love seeing him every morning. Thanks for your visit. I am partying here:

~~~OH Say Can You See!!!~~~
Hello my friends! I am wishing you all a happy 4th and want to THANK all of our veterans and soldiers currently serving for preserving all the wonderful freedoms we enjoy. Since we don't have a deck yet:( I decided to revisit my table (one of several) from last year to help celebrate and show off our patriotism!!! I am so blessed to live in this country. This table is FULL of patriotic love! The centerpiece is a vase of BLUE hydrangeas from my yard. I have been going over tyhere and cutting them, there are 10 bushes of them at the old house!!!! The white lanterns are very versatile. I placed a red votive in them for the 4th.
The glasses are plastic but perfect for outdoor dining. Love the stars on the stems! A red COSMO looks beautiful in them:):)
Some have blue stars and some have red.
The table cloth is layered over a plain blue one since it SHRUNK in the wash:( I did buy a new one this year though so will have it next year!
On the table cloth I have a round red placemat, my white chargers, a red dinner plate, a blue salad plate and a checked dessert plate topped by a STARS AND STRIPES plate!!!!A Stars and stripes teatowel serves as our napkin since usually there is some type of barbequed meat on the menu!!
I forget now where I found these adorable buckets. They are filled with some flag mints and some red fluff along with a flag.
The blue goblets are from the Dollar Tree, I think! Do you see the flag S and P?
I love to use my blue and white flatware for any patriotic setting too.
I hope you all have a great day and maybe get to see some fireworks! I love fireworks and hope we can see some tomorrow night too. Be safe. XO, Pinky
