New Spring/Summer Table

I set a new table with a runner I found at....yup, Home Goods! I know, I practically live there.  I found this awhile back and knew it would be great for Summer dining!! I LOOOOVE the colors in this runner, and chose dishes to compliment it.
 There are greens, orange, salmon, white and yellow in this runner.
 I grabbed my faux hibiscus in the hibiscus vases for an accent on the table. They go so well with the flowers on the runner.
 This was one of the carnations that were given to us at Mothers day brunch! yes, they are still alive and looking good!
 Isn't this a great faux??
 Here is the vase. They were my in-laws and I love them!

I gathered a yellow, white and green napkin in this new flowered napkin ring from Pier 1.
 I am using my green handled flatware today too.
 I am SOOOO in love with this table. For those of you new to the blog; my son had this IN THE BOXES, at a garage sale I was having. The table and 6 chairs for $150.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It didn't sell, so he gave it to me. I ADORE this set. It is very French country and has gorgeous details. The chairs have beautiful details too. The table has a drawer at each end to hold napkins or flatware or whatever!!

 My stack is: an orange placemat, white charger, orange dinner plate, white salad and the napkins. I love how the cut out on the napkin matches the detail on the salad plate.
 I am using my clear bubble goblets and my bee juice glasses.

Thanks for stopping by.

~~~The Leaves are Falling Outside AND In!!!!~~~
Hi everyone! Hope you are all ready for a fun weekend. We are going to a wedding tomorrow so that will be FUN!!!Even though they are predicting some SNOW!!!! Just a LITTLE though. Our leaves are NOT glorious this year:(. So far. I am hoping for more color SOON! I took some shots from around the house for you. This is out the kitchen window.
 This next one is looking out the back sliding glass doors.
 It is NOT pretty on the deck right now. I could sweep and blow the leaves 3 times a day. That is NOT happening:):)
 The begonia is still blooming!
 And the impatiens.
 This is looking out the front windows that flank the front door.
 Then I went upstairs to the sliding glass doors in our room.
This is NOT dirty glass, it is the screen:) I guess IT is dirty:):)
 And out our bathroom window. Yes, I have a view of TREES from every single window or door in this house.
 Looking out the windows on the upstairs bridge. I just blew the driveway on Wed.
 Now for the ugly part: this is my poor hibiscus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:(:( I am SO upset! I don't know what happened but the leaves have turned yellow and are falling off!!!! NOOOOOOO! We kept this alive all last winter and now this! I am going to PRUNE it hard and hope it comes back. I'll let you know. I love this plant, love that it is braided and last year it BLOOMED inside for a long time. So sad. Keep you fingers crossed. Have a GREAT weekend everyone. XO, Pinky
~~~Some Spring Flowers are BLOOMING!!!~~~

HI everyone! I am so in love with Spring! Mother Nature reminds us every year of her beauty and splendor. The earth comes alive again, right on cue and I am so grateful to have sight to see all this beauty. And the best part is, it is going to keep getting better!!!!!! SOME of the azaleas at our house are blooming. This red one is a favorite. Then the next one is such a pretty pink!

 I planted begonias in the mailbox. Joe built this many years ago for us. Where the numbers are cut out there is a light so it is lit at night.
 This is looking down our street. Our cherry trees are on the right here. We bought them many years ago and they were tiny, maybe 10 feet tall!!!!!! Now they are huge! I had to hurry though, the blooms are blowing off already! The white dogwood you see, Joe dug out of the woods when we built the house.
 Close up of the dogwood blooms......gorgeous!!!!!!
 Close up of the cherry blossoms.

 A variegated hosta. We probably have over 100 hostas on our property, Joe keeps dividing them!
 Close up of one of the azaleas. This color is gorgeous to me!
 Cut leaf Japanese maple. We have 4 of these, 2 out front and 2 in the back.
 One of the ones in the front of the house.
 Some of the pansies. Love this variegated one.
 Pretty blue.

 Bleeding heart, SO pretty and evidently tastes good too:):)
 One of the bleeding hearts at the top of the pond. This came up from seed!
 ONE bud is blooming on this azalea, tomorrow many more will be blooming, I am sure.

White bleeding heart.
 These are candleabra primroses. I will show you how they come up in LAYERS....just like a candleabra! We have many around the pond but only this one is starting to bloom.
 The ferns, etc. are filling in around the pond.
 Joe built this swing many years ago. Last year we restained it and did it EBONY with the seat a warm brown that matches the deck. I love the black!
 This is a SWEET smelling viburnum. I have several blooms right here at my desk so I can enjoy the fragrance, it is heavenly!
 The viburnum taken from up on the deck.
 The hibiscus that we kept alive all winter (!!!) is blooming again!!!!!!!!! I love this!!!!!
