~~~My Living Room, Dressed for Fall!!!~~~
Happy Monday everyone! Today I tought I would show you my living room, dressed for Fall. I don't do alot in here but a few touches. I love that with my cream colored sofa, all I have to do is change out the pillows for each season! It changes the look for a very inexpensive budget! So, here we go! This is what you see when you walk in the room from the foyer.
This is the credenza. I have a collection of Oriental plates that my Mom gave me in the bottom, and the flowers you see are faux hibiscus. The vases they are in are made specifically for hibiscus flowers! I placed one beaded pumpkin on the credenza.
 On the coffee table I have a wicker based hurricane sitting on a glass cake stand. An orange candle is inside surrounded with acorns, nuts etc.
 On the cake stand I placed some dried pomegranites, small pinecones and a garland of bittersweet is twined around it all.
 2 beaded pumpkins are on each side. The beaded pumpkins are a little dressier for here in the living room.
 At the center of the sofa I have 2 rusty colored pillows and a leaf pillow.
 Then at each end are 3 pillows: the one that matches the sofa, a solid rust one and the Fall colored squares.
 I have 2 sofa tables behind the sofa. I put these amber hurricanes on a tall candlestick and encircled it with a pumpkin candleholder.
 Here is the mantle (that Joe built). I love the lush berry garland and I have placed some faux acorns and pumpkins among the berries.
 I have these 2 glass pumpkins on candlesticks with battery candles inside, for safety!
 I turned on the lamps to give you an idea of what it looks like at night.
 I took these shots to show you the 2 wall colors in the room. I LOVE THESE COLORS!!!!!!!!!!! They are WARM in the Winter and cool in the Summer! This room has 2 skylights so is never dark. I am so happy sitting in this room. These are MY colors! I have always loved the warm colors of Fall! Can you see the 2 different colors?
 This is my pagoda etegere. More of my blue and white collection is here.
 This ceramic pocket is filled with some leaves and berries.
 A favorite picture.
 It is hard to tell but this piece looks like a huge DISH is in the frame. It is the perfect color for the room.
~~~My New Lantern!!!~~~

Good afternoon everyone! Today I wanted to show you the new lantern I got on Monday while shopping with a group of girlfriends! We had a great day! We all (5 of us) met for breakfast at 9AM, then went to the Phila. Premium Outlets and shopped. Then we drove to King Of Prussia Mall (these are all in Pa.) and we shopped some more then had a late lunch! It was a great day. This lantern is the first thing I bought. It was on sale at the Yankee Candle outlet for $20.00! I grabbed it right away and lugged it around all morning:):) I have been wanting a lantern like this for awhile.
 I filled it with acorns, tiny faux leaves, nuts and 2 Fall picks. The candle is from Target, I love how it is embossed so beautifully!!!!! (OH! The white dots you see in this picture are the top I am wearing:):):)!!!!!
 I tried to show you all angles.

 I am lovin my new lantern. Right now it is living on the kitchen table but it will probably get moved soon.
Hope you all have a GREAT day!!!! XO, Pinky

~~~The Making of an Easter Tablescape!~~~
I thought I would take you through what I do to create a tablescape. This will not be our Easter dinner table but I had all these elements and thought this would be a cute table too! So, we start with this pretty tablecloth. I got it at a garage sale several years ago for $3.00!!!!!!!! It has bunnies, chicks etc. on it but in a very subtle pattern.
 Next, I took an egg wreath to encircle....
my LARGE "chocolate" bunny! He came from K-Mart several years ago. They carried them for 2 years, I think and they are so cute!!!! He is carrying a pretty bouquet of flowers for you!
 Next is a straw placemat/charger, that reminds us of an Easter basket.
 then a Spring green dinner plate.
 Followed by a brown and cream salad plate. The brown ties into the chocoalte bunny.
 At first I put these bunny candles on a nest of moss but didn't like it, and it was VERY messy! So, you will see what I changed it to in a second.
 I used my brown bamboo flatware. it seems organic and the color is pretty on this table.
 a rattan napkin holder holds cut green napkins.
 close up of the napkin rings
 Then I decided I would place 2 wicker pillar holders with pale green pillars beside the bunny.
 So, I used my mini grapevine tiny wreaths to encircle the bunny candle. I also rolled up some raffia to lift the bunny a litlle.
 aren't the little candles so cute! I love them!!!!
 It is dark and dreary out so the pictures aren't real bright, sorry!!!!
I did light the candles but the picture didn't really show it so I didn't include that picture. I will show you the "rea" Easter table soon. I have to wash some dishes and glases etc. before I can set that table! Tomorrow is suppsed to be near 80 degress so you can be sure I will be OUTSIDE, planting flowers and getting my deck put together!!!! I can't wait! I hope you have enjoyed this litlle step by step. I so appreciate all my bloggy frioends!!!! Happy Easter to you all!!!! Don't forget, you can click on the pictures to enlarge. I am linking to Susan's wonderul blog http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ for Tablescape Thurs. RUN over there to see tons of beautiful tables!!!!!XO, Pinky
