To compliment the runner I mixed it up a bit by gathering 2 napkins together in a simple, white ceramic napkin ring.
My limelight hydrangeas are perfect for a simple but beautiful centerpiece.
They are all different colors right now. Some are still green and some...
are white and some
are beginning to show some of that beautiful pinkish color.
I added 2 green candles surrounded by a green leafy ring for added texture.
My clear bubble goblets will hold our beverage.
The hydrangeas are in one of my white pitchers that is acting as a vase.
To add some more texture I filled my white gravy boat with some seed balls and other pods.
A single apple sits in a green leafy ring on top of the dish stack.
This is the salad plate
and this the dinner plate. They can be mixed together many different ways.
Yes, there is also a small antler in this mix:)
I really like the edge of the gravy boat and the leafy vine on the side.
The rattan S and P tie in with the sea grass placemats.
Thanks for your visit! Are you dreaming and planning for Fall yet? I am just beginning to THINK about it. We have had some cooler temps this week that I have been loving. I hope you are surviving this awful heat if it is HOT where you are!!!.

ReplyDeleteGreat colour combo and love how you mixed the patterns. The apple in the greenery looks terrific and you dish stack is perfectly matched to your table linens. I used a B&W checked tablecloth for a summer t'scape this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lori! I'll be over to visit!
DeleteVery beautiful tablescape. You totally nailed black and white theme. Black and white plates are awesome and surprising element to the whole tablescape. What I loved most are hydrangeas and candle. Delightful presentation!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Pam!
DeletePinky, tried to leave a comment earlier, but was having issues. Think I have it working now. '-)
ReplyDeleteLove the black and white combo especially with the green. Reminds me of my CC bag with green handles and details.
Thank you, Sarah!
DeleteLove the black and white Pinky. Beautiful table, I like how the place setting allow you to face the window and enjoy the view while you eat. Gorgeous limelight hydrangea. I just planted a Little Lime in my yard. I'm posting it tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Judy!
DeleteI love this color combo - green is my fav color!! Something that really caught my eye is how you set the long table - I love how you planned it side by side, rather than across from each other - I never think to do that and certainly have to remember it!! Great idea! Your hydrangeas are so pretty - is there a trick to keep them from wilting once cut?
ReplyDeleteWell, I change the water every other day and then after about a week or 10 days I purposely let them dry. I like to have dried flowers for decorating in the fall:):)
DeleteSo beautiful and refreshing! It has been hot here in North Carolina too, so much so, that fall seems far away. Today we are having a respite from the heat, low 80's with no humidity! Heaven. Your tablescapes are always lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Darlene!!!
DeleteI LOVE this Pinky! Black & white is always attractive, but I love it paired with the rustic elements, fabulous!
ReplyDeleteJenna
Beautiful table! I am pinning this because I always shy away from using printed napkins and you do it so beautifully! Thanks so much for joining the DI & DI Link Party. :-)

ReplyDeleteHellooo Pinky!!! I positively love black and white check but never thought to put it with green. It looks gorgeous. Your tablescape is positively stunning! I'm going to steal your idea but will be sure to give you full credit!! Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteLove your table, especially your black and white plates and your use of the green apples with leafy greenery (where did you find that wonderful small green wreath?) Well done. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
ReplyDeletePretty! I have those same green & white napkins. I like the mix with the black.
ReplyDeleteLove the black and white check and florals. Limelights in a white pitcher and white ironstone are perfect for your napkins and runner. Love how you did the apple nestled in the grass.
ReplyDeleteLove this color combo Pinky. My limelights are just beginning to bloom- they're one of the best hydrangeas out there! I hope you had a good time with your visitors. Summer is a great time to see people!
ReplyDeleteBlack and white is always good as there are so many touches that can be added. I had to keep looking at the green trying to figure out if it was real or fake. That was a fun addition.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Pinky and I love the pattern on the plates!
