A Warm Fall Welcome!

I decorated out front 2 weeks ago but am just getting to share it now. I have been away, left last Wed. and got home Sunday. I was away with girlfriends to the beach. We have done this annual trip for 41 years now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is always a great time. I feel so blessed to have these friends all these years. We all were neighbors and raised our kids together. Now our kids have kids:) Anyway, here is my WELCOME to you and all who visit! A pretty wreath is a beautiful welcome to family and friends. I made this last year and still love it but am working on a new piece for the front door, and this will go on the back door.
I have had the coleus in the urn all summer along with the begonias so just added some faux pumpkins, a gourd  and a mum at the base.
Love how the coleus is growing up the sticks.
A real ivy has been growing here in this chair planter all summer so I added a faux sunflower bush. This area gets NO sun so it is hard to use real here.
The pumpkin doormat came from Kirklands last year. They do have it again this year. I placed it on top of a plain doormat. Sorry, didn't realize it was crooked when I took these shots:)
I trimmed this angel wing begonia WAY back; it was a lot bigger and in the way! Then I added the pumpkin branches

 2 faux pumpkins greet visitors.

I put a real mum in with the bushes that are here in this area. It is now blooming a lot more!
A coleus, mum and geranium sit on the sidewalk leading to the front door.

I got this pumpkin patch fence piece many years ago at a craft fair and still love it.
I simple garland dresses up the mailbox.

Thanks for your visit! I missed you all last week and will try to get back to visiting you all. Have a beautiful Fall day my friends. It is getting time for hot cider, cozy throws, football, chili and all the other fun things that Fall brings!!!! I love Fall!! I will be sharing at these parties:

Our Everyday Fall table....for now!

I created a table that we can use everyday. Simple, early Fall, perfect for now. Hope you like it! I took lots of pics so please bear with me:)
I put my white ceramic pumpkin inside of a grapevine then covered it with this wire cloche.
These are glass pumpkins and have LED tea lights under them.
I found the rust colored dinner plates at the $ store. They are such a gorgeous color!!!

Leaf embroidered placemats and a leaf shaped plate sits on

 this leaf plate from Walmart!!!
Isn't it perfect with the placemat? I have had the placemats for years!
Little twine pumpkins rest against the stand and acorns are scattered as they would be outside.

I gathered 2 napkins in this flower ring from Pier 1.
These little garden carts are so sweet!

 Brown bubble glasses

And this pumpkin platter holds our main dish at night.

In an effort to drink more water I am keeping the pitcher on the table!

My brown bamboo flatware is my go to in Fall.

Pumpkin candle rings are under the pumpkins.

Pork chops with broccoli was our main dish the other night.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a beautiful day, sweet friends!!!
XO, Pinky

Breakfast for 10!

I hosted a breakfast for some of my neighbors on Monday. It was a lot of fun, and always so nice to get together with new FRIENDS!!! I set 2 tables, I can't fit 10 at either table, unfortunately. It was a fun morning, and no one left til 11:45 so I guess they had a good time:) I thought I would share our bounty:) The breakfast room table sat 6 today. I did a VERY simple table!
Leaf embroidered placemats and leaf napkins.
I used plain green placemats at the ends. My brown bamboo flatware is my go to in the Fall!
The dining room table for 4.
I got this new runner recently so used simple orange placemats with leaves imprinted on them.

The buffet area was set up with the food.
The fruit salad was served in this beautiful bowl I found at WALMART!!! It is their Better Homes and Gardens Fall collection. It has pumpkins and acorns on the inside too! I love it!
3 kinds of breads: lemon, blueberry and banana walnut. Pumpkin streudel mini muffins too.

The juice station. We had OJ, cranberry and water in the pitcher.
 Regular and decaf coffee.

My plate and juice. I love to mix OJ and cranberry:)
 Egg casserole
 French toast casserole.
It was a fun morning. Wish you all could have been here!!!
