The 2018 Christmas Living Room

Good morning my friends! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are full on into Christmas now! I am and have been for a few weeks actually. Today I would like to share our living room, dressed up for Christmas! This is a picture heavy post so please get comfy:) As you approach the living room from the foyer this is what you see. I will show you my life sized Santa further down in the post. I love that you can see the tree as soon as you come in the house. That will be another post:)
I took the photos at night as I love the glow of the lamp light.
This is a comfy, cozy room. I love to sit in here and read.

Next to my chair is the tiered stand that is always in this spot and gets decorated for each season.
Here is my Joyce Ditz Santa that most of you have seen before. A seeded deer sits next to him.
I just LOVE his life like face. Colleen really thought he was real when she was little.

The curio cabinet got a garland added to the top. Actually I would 2 garlands together.

My Christmas cactus is blooming like crazy.
The mantle and hearth are lit. I got some fairy lights and added them to the 2 trees that are on the ends. The other 2 trees were prelit.

The picture over the mantle was purchased at Kirkland several years ago, on sale. It was marked $59.99 and it was 75% off so I got it for $15.00!!!!!!!!!!!!

The green tree in the center is glass. I got a pair of them on clearance, also at Kirklands for $5.00!
These 2 Santas on the hearth were made by a lady in Texas.

On the round table is a collection of Belsnickle type Santas.
 And vintage bottle brush trees.

On the coffee table is a Fitz and Floyd Santa, with 2 F and F deer candle holders.

The "Believe" pillow id new this year.

More deer on the sofa tables.

For those who are new here, the 2 elephants on the ends of the sofa are from Vietnam and I treasure them! A gold filigree deer is part of this vignette and...
another one over here. This years theme IS "the year of the deer".

Thanks so much for your visit! Are you finished decorating yet? Enjoy it all, it goes by way too fast for this girl!

Be Merry!!!! The First Christmas Dining Table

Good morning my friends! I have finished all my decorating so am ready to start sharing all the FA LA LA!!! We will start at the dining room, as that is the first room you see when you enter our home. I set the table and dressed up the room, just for you! Come on in! And please, BE MERRY!
I have not done the garland that I usually do over the hutch, still debating about that. As I mentioned last week, this years theme is "The Year of the Deer", so one of my deer acts as the centerpiece.
 He's a handsome buck:)
I am using my gold flatware and the hand embroidered napkins that were my Mother-in-law's. They are paired with a leopard print napkin. I love a touch of leopard anywhere!
The gold beaded place mat is topped with my gold and black china and the Christmas salad plates.
An ornate tree ornament for each place setting.

The runner has beautifully decorated "NOEL" at each end.
A mix of gold and sparkly trees marches down the center of the runner.

The champane glasses were a gift last year. I LOVE them.
 They are from Pier 1.
I found these beautiful deer pillows at Bog Lots this year! They are perfect!

The matching deer sits on the little server along with some bottle brush trees and some Santas.

I found this blown glass tree at a local antique store last year.
The snowflake runner is so pretty and I wound a gold bead garland through the vignette.

Thanks so much for your visit! I will be posting 3 times a week now so I can share everything! Have a beautiful week, my friends!
