I Made A Fall Arrangement

I have this beautiful Leaf vase that I got at Pier One many years ago so decided to make an arrangement in it for Fall. I have had these pumpkin stems for years and they have been used in different spots but now are part of the arrangement.
 Leaf and acorn stems
and berry stems also fill the arrangement.
I love sunflowers and had a few bunches.
I added some sticks and twigs for height as this spot needs height.

Here's a tip, when you are making a tall arrangement, always weight the bottom of the vase with stones. I had some river rocks so that is what I used. This arrangement was basically free as I had everything. Thanks for your visit. I am sharing at:

Fall Around the Kitchen, 2015

I thought I should share some of the Fall things in the kitchen this year. I love my vintage scale and just added a twiggy pumpkin and a candle ring.
My lantern is filled with pumpkins, pinecones,  cinnamon sticks and acorns.
This is the buffet area of the kitchen.

A pottery pumpkin from Kirklands on a ceramic riser with a small wreath.
Next to the sink is this little vignette.

Over by the stove is the arrangement I made, a small pumpkin guy, leaf paper towels and my pottery utensil holder.

Leaf and acorn S and P on the stove.
Spoon rest from Kirklands many years ago.
I will share the arrangement I made in the leaf vase tomorrow.
This was a VERY simple arrangement to make.
 I love the container too.
On top of the fridge is my copper pumpkin that was a gift from my son many years ago too.
I put a grapevine pumpkin that I decorated on my little stool and next to it my little squirrel.

These ceramic bags were purchased at a craft fair MANY years ago but I still like them.

I made 2 little stacks with my little pumpkins.

Thanks for your visit. I hope you are enjoying these beautiful, Fall days.

Some changes out Front

I did a few changes out front. I decided to put a mum in my olive bucket, move a plant etc. I moved this faux pumpkin to in front of my little gate since it is the same shape.
 Love my little lantern flag.
The mum is now in the olive bucket and lifted onto a stand. The pot of begonias is now gone, the frost got it the other day:( Today it is back to 74!!!
I also brought my favorite, COPPER olive bucket out to the front porch.

I got this last year and just love, LOVE it!

The coleus is still alive and I love how it is growing up the sticks:)
 Begonia, gone:(

I thought I would show you the zinnias. This was last week, BEFORE the freeze:( Now they are all dead and in the trash:(

 The colors are amazing.

The rock garden is still pretty (and alive). The frost didn't bother it for some reason, even though there was frost all over the grass.

Thanks for your visit.
XO, Pinky
