My Favorite Pillow!!

I found this pillow several years ago on clearance at Burlington Coat Factory!!! Yes, they have great linens too!!! I have gotten several pillows there over the years. When I saw it I was so excited. 1-it was a koi pillow and 2-it was BLUE AND WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Couldn't be more perfect for me!!!
Our pond is right out these windows so another reason it is perfect!

I changed up the pieces on this table, and am using the water lilly for summer too.
So realistic with the water droplets and the little frog:)
I love this room, it REALLY feels like home now.

And here is the amazing price!!!!!!!!!!!!! I kept the tag on it cause I knew I would forget what a BARGAIN it was!   Thanks so much for visiting. Joe is doing pretty well. Tonight as I type this he is already in bed. They kinda wore him out in PT today and he is hurting again:( Any prayers are greatly appreciated!!!!

Looking Back....

I posted this table this time last year and since we are so busy with preparations for Joe's hip replacement surgery, I decided to repost it. I haven't had time to do any new posts lately! I hope you enjoy this table, I LOVE this combination of black and white with green. It is definitely one of my favorites!!!! So here is the post as it appeared last year!
We hosted our dinner group on Sat. night. I made a fresh arrangement for our centerpiece and set the table with one of my favorite color combos. I didn't use a tablecloth, preferring to see the beautiful wood of the table and have a lighter sense for summer. I placed a green and white placemat, then a round black and white placemat, a square white dish, a green dinner plate and a black and white scrolled dessert plate for my stack.
My black handled flateware was perfect.
I gathered some EARLY limelight hydrangeas, fresh grapes, limes, apples and lettuce.

A couple of pears were also added.

We were missing one couple but had a fun night.
We ate our hors d'oerves out on the patio then came in for dinner.

I hadn't made a fresh arrangement in quite awhile but while at the gracery store had a light bulb moment:)

Wish you all could have been here, it was a lovely night.

Come Walk with Me!

I am sharing some pictures around the pond today. Everything is growing like crazy! We have had ALOT of rain and now are having tropical heat and humidity, it is oppressive here right now. But, these beautiful water hibiscus are blooming and look SO pretty! The blooms are the size of a dinner plate!!!!I love the color too!
Do you see all the buds that will open too!?
New this year, lupines! One purple and one reddish pink.

I had another plant in this pot but it died, too much rain I think. So I got this mini sunflower at the grocery the other day.
The ceramic fish are candle holders. Got them years ago and love them.

This hydrangea is a pretty, DEEP pink.
These are almost multi colored. Each bloom has several colors!

I am trying to keep up with the outside now too, cause poor Joe can't do anything right now. His hip replacement surgery can't come soon enough! NEXT Monday!!!

This is cardinal flower. The hummingbirds love it! It likes wet feet and can even be planted IN the water.
A solar powered turtle hangs out near the pond.
The limelight hydrangea tree is blooming now!

Thanks for stopping by. I will be sharing at these fun parties:
