Bunnies in the Breakfast Room!

I am working my way through the house, sharing my Easter decor with you and today we shall see the breakfast/morning room. I gave my daughter a few bunnies and other decor this year but I still have plenty! Those of you who have been following me for awhile know that my Joe built me this hutch, when we lived in the last house. I have thought about painting it but it would break his heart so it will stay like this:) A collection of some of my baskets surround it on the wall.

I would 2 garlands together for the top of the hutch. Then added a white lantern, a burlap bunny and another bunny that was made for me by a friend!

On the first shelf I have Mr. and Mrs. bunny. The lamp and shade came from Walmart and the shade is burlap too.
The 2 small bunnies on this shelf are by Goebel, the company that makes Hummels. I inherited them from my Mother-in-law.
My large Faux chocolate bunny came from K Mart many years ago. She is so pretty. The chocolate egg with chocolate eggs also came from K Mart. The cement bunnies are perched on a cement stand.

My other 2 faux chocolate bunnies are over here on these shelves. They are actually plant stands that are over 30 years old!
2 script bunnies sit on this table that Joe made.
Peter Rabbit stands here with a pot of lettuce! And another home made bunny sits in the basket.

Thanks so much for your visit.

Easter on the Mantle and Hearth!

Good morning! And, HAPPY SPRING!!!!! I am so glad it is officially Spring as I am DYING to get outside and do some gardening! I have to admit that I just LOVE bunnies! When you come into my house you can tell, I have a pretty large collection of them:) I love to decorate the mantle and hearth with them for Easter! I got a set of 5 LED candles at Costco. They have a timer and a remote which I love! You will see them lit further down in the post.
The elephants and carved lanterns are a staple on the hearth now. I really love them both on here.
On the mantle I placed 2 white bunnies. One has some mini flowers in her basket and the other has a head of lettuce. I decided to light the candles, just for you:)
On the mantle I placed a head of cabbage, some large eggs, and some flowers.
The blue and white jar is surrounded with some egg and flower branches.

I made an arrangement of white tulips and blue berry stems in another blue and white vase. Next to it is a large bunny from Pier 1 and the egg opens and is a candle. It was a gift from my daughter's sister-in-law.

The lanterns come on and the candles at dusk. I love the glow!

Oh, and the set of candles from Costco was $20.00!!!!!

Thanks so much for your visit.

A Spring Greeting, Out Front

Good morning! We had 2 very Spring like days last week so I cleaned off the front "porch" and brought out my Spring wreath and some bunnies! I also put together an arrangement in my urn til I can plant real flowers in there. I can't wait!!! So, I want to wish you a big Spring WELCOME!
It is so nice to have some things out to welcome friends and family. Spring is officially here tomorrow and hopefully the weather will cooperate:)
I added some faux pink impatiens and white daisies to my bunny planter.

I love bunnies and have some cute ones for out here.

This large bunny came from Christmas Tree Shops several years ago. She is so cute holding her basket of eggs.
I layered a pretty green checked rug under a Spring door mat.

Some pretty, pastel flowers fill the urn.
These front bushes will be blooming in a month or so...or maybe a little sooner.
Thanks for stopping by!! Have a beautiful day. I am up for some retail therapy, since I did alot of cleaning out closets yesterday:)

A Simple Spring Table in the Breakfast Room

Good morning! As you know, I keep a table set for us all the time and change them frequently. I have all my Easter decorating done so had to do a table too! It is just a simple table, no big stack of dishes. I started with my charger that reminds me of an Easter basket:) Then a square green dinner plate, and the oval bunny plate.
 Isn't he cute?
I gathered a yellow napkin with an embroidered Easter napkin together in a white ceramic ring to which I added a tiny bunny. I used museum putty to adhere the bunny. I love that stuff!

2 cute bunnies sit at each of our place settings too.
I filled this pretty green pedestal vase with lilly of the valley (faux). The real ones are starting to peek their heads out of the ground now.
I placed 2 bunnies on my wooden stands; the female at my place and...
this handsome guy for Joe. The runner is full of cute bunnies too.
I remembered a few things that I had that I decided to add to the table.

Love these little pots of peachy pink tulips.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
