Glitz and Glam Fall Dining Table

Good morning !!!! I hope you are having a good week and embracing the beginning of Fall! I admit I LOVE Fall! So I am all into it. We don't use our dining room much so I keep the table set to greet our guests. It is the first room you see when you come in the house. So here is my Fall table in the dining room. The black dinner plates are my good china that I have had forever. I found the pumpkin plates at Home Goods about 3 years ago and got 4. Last week I found 4 more!!!! I got them, naturally:)
I found the beaded, pumpkin place mats at CTS 2 years ago. LOVE them! The gold flatware is perfect for this glitzy table:)
 The view from the foyer.
Love this embellished pumpkin, but forget where I found it.
The table was designed around this runner from TJMaxx.

Glass gourd on a glass candle holder.

Gold pumpkin on a mercury glass stand.
The napkins were my Mother-in-laws. They have a matching tablecloth and they are very special to me. The tablecloth and napkins are all hand embroidered.

I scattered these sparkly acorns along the runner too.

The pumpkin pillows were found at Bed Bath and Beyond several years ago.

 Let's light the candles!

I love a touch of leopard so added a votive at each place setting.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I wish I could have a dinner party and have you all over!

Fall Welcomes You on the Credenza

Welcome dear readers!!! There is a story here: the credenza looked different last week. Then when we had Colleen for the weekend there was a big accident....NO, she did nothing. She was with me when things just fell off the credenza and several things broke. Anyway, here is the new arrangement on the credenza to welcome our guests. BTW, if you enjoy my posts and come to visit please leave me a comment if you have time so I can visit you too!

The tall candlestick has a leopard design. There WERE 2 of them here but one fell and it fell on a blue and white jar and broke that too:(
So now one of the pumpkins rests on a brass candle stick. The tall glass pumpkin is new this year.
I got this pumpkin several years ago at Home Goods. I placed it on a wooden stand and surrounded it with a large candle ring.
I have had the 2 smaller glass pumpkins for a couple of years.
Rather than a Fall runner I decided to use this one. The colors are perfect and I love the design.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Fall Mantle and Hearth 2018

I love decorating my mantle and hearth for the seasons. As much as I admire the beautiful, simple mantles out in blogland I just can't resist really doing it up:) I try to change things each year and am liking the arrangement I came up with this year. I brought out my berry garland and combined it with a leaf garland for a lush look.
I love this container. I made this arrangement last year I think.
I draped the berry garland down the left side of the mantle.

On the hearth I created this arrangement of velvet pumpkins and acorns. I added some berry stems and leaves too.

I had a few blue pine cones so added them to the mix as well.

At night the lights come on and the room almost glows.
I LOVE the carved wooden lanterns on the hearth and they will stay there.

A pumpkin stack, a glitter pumpkin, a glitter gourd and an Asian jar sit behind the garland.

Thanks so much for your visit. I am still praying for all the people who suffered loss during Florence. It is so sad.
