~~~The Bonus Room, Reveal!!!!~~~
 Hi everyone! I thought I would continue to show you around our new home. This is the bonus room over the garage, and the room that sold my hubby on this house. Originally, when he saw it he thought he would set up his trains in here and tha was FINE with me. BUT, everyone who saw it said it is TOO NICE to use as a train room. SO....I got to decorate it as an extension of the guest room and bath. All of this is on the second floor so guests can have their own private space. My sister was here at Christmas and stayed up here. She liked being able to sit here in the bonus room and read or watch TV or whatever. The sofa is a sofa bed so other guests could be here too., So, let me show you around! The coffee table used to be in my office at the old house.
 This is on the game table . I made a little arrangement in this wicker pedestal basket of decorative balls and some antlers and seed balls.
 This elephant is a favorite piece of mine. The candlestick is pottery with twine around it and shells imbeded in it.
 I will go around the room for you starting on the left side as you walk in the room. The doors you see go into some attic space.
 Then the sofa flanked by 2 round tables.
 Straight ahead is a window (I haven't gotten a window covering yet). Under the window is my server from the old dining room and  A shelf on each side. I could NOT get a good angle that wouldn't be dark, sorry. I tried from several places....
 In the corner, I hung my bird cage and below it is my very large plate.
 Across from the sofa is the TV and the stereo components, flanked by 2 speakers.
 The guest bedroom and bath I will show you in another post, soon.
 Some details around the room:
 The picture is my sister and I as children. I love the frame of all different pots:)
 One of the pieces that I found and placed in this old basket.
I hoe you have enjoyed seeing the bonus room. Some of you may remember the "Africa Room" in the old house. Most of the things in here are from tha room. I collected most of them and am so glad I can use and display them here. Thans so much for yor visit. Linking to these parties:
Love your Africa room..:)
Looking forward to your hubs MAN CAVE...maybe I can get some ideas to help Mr. Sweet decorate HIS space.
Pinky, you have sure encouraged me along in my HORRIBLE move. When I get to thinking, "I can't do this..." I think of your encouraging words and just trudge on. Right now, both of us are sick with a cold but can't stop work...deadline for putting house on market is March 4......
