This is on the game table . I made a little arrangement in this wicker pedestal basket of decorative balls and some antlers and seed balls.
This elephant is a favorite piece of mine. The candlestick is pottery with twine around it and shells imbeded in it.
I will go around the room for you starting on the left side as you walk in the room. The doors you see go into some attic space.
Then the sofa flanked by 2 round tables.
Straight ahead is a window (I haven't gotten a window covering yet). Under the window is my server from the old dining room and A shelf on each side. I could NOT get a good angle that wouldn't be dark, sorry. I tried from several places....
In the corner, I hung my bird cage and below it is my very large plate.
Across from the sofa is the TV and the stereo components, flanked by 2 speakers.
The guest bedroom and bath I will show you in another post, soon.
Some details around the room:
The picture is my sister and I as children. I love the frame of all different pots:)
One of the pieces that I found and placed in this old basket.
I hoe you have enjoyed seeing the bonus room. Some of you may remember the "Africa Room" in the old house. Most of the things in here are from tha room. I collected most of them and am so glad I can use and display them here. Thans so much for yor visit. Linking to these parties:
