~~~A St. Patty's Table!!!~~~
Good afternoon everyone!!!! First of all I have to tell you that it has taken me hours to get this post up:( I uploaded my pictures 4 times before they finally showed up. I would "select all" and POOF, they would disappear!!!!! But, here we go. I am 1/2 Irish and my hubby is a part Irish but on St. Patty's Day EVERYONE is Irish!!! My Mom was 100% Irish and St. Patty's Day was her favorite day. She was very PROUD to be Irish!!! I wanted to pay homage to the day but keep it simple, and very ORGANIC! Lots of textures and organic elements.
 For the placesetting we have my scalloped white charegers, a soft green dinner plate, a white scalloped salad plate and a green cabbage plate. All the greens do not MATCH but they blend together nicely. I topped the stack off with a pear.
 So, I decided to use my pear candles. They are perched on top of a chipppy, wooden stand, not a candle holder!
 To the table I added some seed balls and some smooth rocks. More textures! I also am using my cabbage S and P.
 Everything sits on a delicalely striped green tablecloth topped with a tan square placed diagonally. Then I used a striped green, white and beige placemat.
 2 napkins; one tan and one with a subtle green pattern are gathered in a very simple green ring and fluffed.
 My centerpiece is a pot of ivy that I started out on the back deck last summer and have been BABYING all winter:) I added some sticks to the pot for added height and DRAMA! Plus they add some MORE texture.
 I placed some reindeer moss in the top of the pot AND into the saucer.
 The stems flow gracefully across the table. The ivy is on a clear glass cake stand to lift it up and show it off!!!
 2 dark green votives are on each side of the ivy.
 I used my pearly white flatware that has served me well for years.
 I love the different EDGES of the stack of plates.
 The table is ready for a wonderful meal.
 Details of the tablecloth, fabric square and napkins.
 My trusty green goblets make another appearance at this table. They are made of recycled glass.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Please leave me a comment so I know you were here. I will be joining these wonderful parties.
    I've been wanting a couple of sets of those salt and peppers. You have created that need in me again.
    I'm also taken with the centerpiece. It's a style I gravitate toward. Very well done.
