Then I found these placemats at Joann Fabric for 40% off! They are reversible too!
I used a green runner to bring out the green of the sunflower.
And my green handled flatware. I also got this towel at Joann and will use it in the kitchen when I decorate for Fall....SOON!
I have had these coasters for awhile too.
I love the texture of these glass covers. I also love that they come off to wash the glasses.
I am using these white lanterns with a yellow candle inside.
We have sunflower bowls for cereal or fruit. And the sunflower napkin ring gathers a brown and a yellow napkin.
The stack is very simple. The white dinner plate's edge reminds me of a vine. Then a sunflower plate and the bowl.
This was before I went to the grocery to get.... the sunflowers.
I also have these napkin rings that look cute in the bowls.
AHHH, I love sunflowers. I cut these short to fit into my favorite vase.
I also cut a few of my limelight hydrangeas for our bud vases.

Hi Pinky, love sunflowers and you managed to create a lovely table. Such great finds. The flowers are beautiful. I have those napkin rings too. xo

and I L O V E your late Summer Sunflower tablescape, dear friend!!!
The plate is truly an inspiration piece!!!
The real Sunflowers cut short are stunning!!!
Thank you for bringing "Sunny flowers" and an amazing tablescape to make me smile today!!!

I bought a sunflower plate at home goods the other day. It just like your sunflower plate......the one with the solid sunflower.
ReplyDeleteI purchased a new table cloth, runner and placemats at the craft show this month. I can not wait to start decorating for fally.
Hi, Miss Pinky! You've been shopping a little, huh? I LIKE it!!! I can't believe that I live just a few moments from the Kansas border and don't have more sunflower stuff in my repertoire!!! I should be overrun with it...but I'm not! I love sunflowers and big ol' heads and their happy little faces!
ReplyDeleteI love the way your napkin rings have that kind of "scrunchy" look. I don't know how else to describe them. They're just cool. Not real sleek...that's what makes them look so cool, I think. The color rocks, too.
I have some rose bowls just like yours!!! I bought about 20 or so of them back when I had my fine rentals company. I kept a few of them when I retired and closed the store. I think they're called "Olympia." They really reflect light, and they hold your sunflowers in such a lovely way. I WILL be copying that someday! :-)
Oh, I just love your "sunflowery" tablescape, Pinky! I think sunflowers are just the happiest flowers. The placemats, towel and that plate are so, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm going to comment on another post while I'm here. Your patio looks lovely, and that patio trunk is gorgeous. That is a perfect way to store you cushions out of the elements.
I agree, sunflowers are the transition, they are still so bright and happy but signal fall is on its way! I just love your happy table and the sunlight streaming in makes my heart soar that we still have a couple of weeks of official summer left even though the kids are back in school.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table! I love the plate and placemats you found too. The colors just pop right out at me...
ReplyDeleteHave a great night!
Pinky, Your table is just lovely. The sunflower plates are so pretty for a late summer table. I know it means fall will soon be here and that summer is almost over, but sunflowers will always be my favorite.
ReplyDeleteLooks absolutely beautiful Pinky! I saw your awning also. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, Pinky, you are a bargain hunter extraordinary! I just love everything in this blog. Sunflowers are my favourite flower; Autumn is my favourite season; I am actually quite envious of all your sunflower themed treasures, and love what you have done with all the arranging and tablescapes. Oh, and I have a Fall birthday too! Waving ~~~
ReplyDeleteI love the rustic table, perfect setting for the sunflowers. The napkin rings do look great sitting in the bowls. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table! I love, love, love that plate from Homegoods! It looks handpainted. I would have been driving around to every store in three states looking for more! Your little sunflower plates and bowls are just too cute too! Everything goes together so well!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and love it. One of my new favorites. I will enjoy going over your past post!!
