Christmas in the breakfast room

Good morning. As you are seeing this it is like Spring here: going up to the mid 60's today! The weather is crazy but I am NOT complaining! I love it. Today I am sharing the breakfast room all decked out for Christmas. I am using my snowmen again but am thinking I may do something entirely different next year!
I try to do it a little differently each year. I did not add snow on the shelves and I added more trees.
I did the top differently too.

I used 2 garlands woven together, my large lantern, a prancing deer, a tree in a clay pot and a demijohn decorated with things from my stash.
Most of the snowmen are hand made that I got at craft fairs years ago.
 This is me:):)
This one is not hand made but was a gift last year from a dear friend. Thanks Doris!!!!
I do not wish for snow but he is cute:) The deer were also handmade and purchased at a craft fair.
I did a little scene in this small lantern.
Some sun shots early in the morning.

Now some at night. I love my snowman lamp and lantern.
I decorate the windowsills to (somewhat) hide the cords from the candles.

Thanks for your visit, I so appreciate it. I hope you are having fun decking your halls too! Yesterday I went and did my friends tree and stairway garland and will share it soon too. I have so much to share with you this season!

Christmas Mantle and Hearth, 2017

Good morning! I got a good head start on decorating this year so have most of it finished and it feels SO good. This year I decided on a theme of TREES!!!! We got a new tree so that started it. Today I am sharing my mantle and hearth for this year.
The 2 gold trees on the ends are very slim so perfect for on a mantle.
You all know that I have collected Santas for many years! This one is handmade by a woman in Texas. It is a Polish Father Christmas.
This one is the other Polish Father Christmas. They both have beautiful dolls in their arms that were made in Kracow (it is written on the bottom of the dolls).
At dusk the lights come on. The 2 middle gold trees are lit.
My Santa picture came from Kirklands several years ago.
The garland was purchased 2 years ago on clearance after Christmas. I embellished it with  picks, dry magnolia leaves, sticks etc.
 I love these flower lights.

The carved lanterns from India stay on the hearth all the time now. I love them here. Gold filagree deer are so pretty. I also have a THING for deer:)
This Asian Santa was given to me by a neighbor who was moving. She knew I would love it!

I have 2 of these green, glass trees. They were purchased at Kirklands several years ago, on clearance for $4.99 each!

I think he has a sweet face.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my mantle and hearth. I am going to be part of our Christmas house tours here in the neighborhood. I enjoy being part of it each year!
Thanks for your visit, it means so much to me.
XO, Pinky

The First Room Reveal, The Master

Good Morning!!! We had a very busy weekend! Friday, Joe and I celebrated our 50th(!!!???) anniversary!!! I am having a hard time wrapping my head around that fact! WHERE have the years gone??? We have grown together and had an amazing ride through these years. He makes me laugh every, single day. Saturday was Colleen's 5th birthday party! Great weekend!
Today I wanted to start sharing my Christmas decor for 2017! I am starting in the master. I am using my Winter Birds bedding again this year, as I still love it. It is colorful and makes me smile and I can keep it all winter!
On the table at the foot of the bed is a large nest with some cardinals on it. Also a red tree, a nutcraker and a large pine cone piece.
I had this garland type piece in my stash and realized it really matched the print on the bedding. I love it on the mirror.

This white Santa sits on a basket that is covered with a faux fur cover. Since the pillows on the bed are faux fur it all works together!
My theme this year is trees, Trees, TREES!!!
 Joe's dresser has a nutcracker.
My dresser, dressed with a Santa, 2 glitzy deer and some bottle brush trees.

Now we will move over to the sitting room area.
I wove 2 garlands together and placed them on the back of the love seat.
These pillows are the pumpkin pillows I used in the dining room for Fall. I just turned them around and pinned a pretty ornament on them!

Gold tree candles sit on the candle holders.
This pottery piece is one of my favorites. I got it at a craft show many years ago.
I love that the pine cone pieces resemble animal print:)
In the early morning the sunlight makes amazing shadows!
 It looks like mini lights!

 Love this affect!

Thanks so much for your visit. Have you started your decorating yet? We spend Thanksgiving at our daughter and SIL's and then we will host Christmas dinner. Our son is up from Fl right now. he has made it a tradition to come up for Colleen's birthday and stay through Thanksgiving !!!!
XO, Pinky
