Christmas Mantle and Hearth

Happy Wednesday everyone! This year we decided to retire the wreath with the deer that has hung on our fireplaces for too many years! So, we have a new look this year and I love it. I got the Santa picture at Kirklands several years ago and it hung in the hallway between our offices. I brought it out of hiding to feature here! Since the picture is of Santa, I am using some of my favorite Santas on the mantle too.
I also got a new garland this year, the old one was very tired too. This is fuller and has a mix of greens, pinecones, berries etc. I love it. I did add some magnolia leaves that I had.
I also embellished the garland with some pretty picks of gold leaves, berries, balls etc. 2 of my lit trees are featured too.

On the hearth I continued the Santa theme.
I added the gold lacy deer, some golden trees and some candles on silver pots.
This is a Joyce Ditz Santa on a bike and carrying some trees.

All of these Santas evoke memories for me. I remember where or when we bought them. I have been collecting Santas for many years.
This guy is a favorite: he is a faux Belsnickle Santa. I have 2 real ones that I treasure.
The 2 Santas on the mantle were made by a lady in Texas. This is one of 2 Polish Santas. She would research what a Father Christmas would have worn and replicate that. She sent us the literature with the Santa. This one and the other on the other side are carrying dolls that were made in Kracow, Poland!
This is the other Polish Santa.

Some of the lights on the mantle have these pretty flower covers that I love.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I know how busy everyone is at this time.
XO, Pinky

Glitz and Galm Christmas Dining Room!

Good morning! We have had a whirlwind weekend but that's what the holidays are all about! Fri. night was our tree trimming party at the clubhouse and Sun. night was our neighborhood Christmas party at a nearby restaurant. Dinner, dancing and FUN!
Now on to the dining room. I decided to set a glamorous table this year when I found this gorgeous beaded runner. Then on Sat. while Christmas shopping I treated myself to these GORGEOUS beaded placemats! I have wanted these for years so bought myself a Christmas present. When I saw them I could not resist any longer:) Thanks, Santa1!!!
The appetizer plates I found at Home Goods and knew they would be perfect with my dishes and Trees! I have a tree theme going on all around the house this year, and with a TOUCH of animal too! The little trees on the plates are ornaments from Walmart!!! They are beautiful. I had the lady wrap each separately in a little bag to keep them nice:) My gold flatware came from my SIL, years ago and I love it. Thanks again, Janie!
Some trees are elevated on mercury glass stands. The candle rings feature greens and faux pearls that match the garland.

You who have been with me, know I made the centerpiece years ago.
It sits in a beautiful gold urn.

There is a gold napkin and a silver napkin sheath gathered in a silver ring featuring different charms.
The copper trees have been in the bathroom in different years but moved here for this table.

It all started with this sparkly "NOEL" runner.
My Grandmothers wine glasses make another appearance.
2 of the plates say "Be Merry" and the other 2 say "Happy Holidays".
I will share the rest of the dining room in a later post, this is getting too long:)

I found a new bottle brush tree this year, I have a collection of them too.
And this gold twirly tree is several years old.

Thanks for your visit! I hope you are getting ready for the big day but have time to really sit and enjoy the season!

XO, Pinky
Update!! I remembered I had found these napkin rings last week so thought I should use them! I love how they match the candle rings so well. I found them at Hobby Lobby.

Yup, I Decorate the Bathrooms too!

Good morning! It has been raining for 2 days so it has been hard to get pictures, so I thought I would share the bathrooms, decorated for the holidays! I am sharing 2 of the 4 bathrooms today. I will share the other 2 in another post. We are starting in the guest bath here on the main floor. It is the bathroom between our 2 offices (that can be used as bedrooms). I have been collecting animal print ribbon since all the décor has a touch of animal, all over the house! I found these tree towels 2 years ago at Boscovs. I bought all they had!
I use this Santa in here. He has the prettiest coat and hat!

I turned him around to show you his beautiful coat!
On the soap dish I placed a Santa and a floral pick.
On the vanity I have a pinecone tree in browns and coppers
and I found this soap dispenser featuring a snow lady dressed in animal print!

I forgot to get a close up of the hand towels. They are Lynn Chase, and feature a leopard with a Christmas wreath around his neck!
 Isn't she adorable!?

 I just love this ribbon.
Next we are going downstairs to the family room and bar area bathroom. I found these towels about 5 or 6 years ago at Big Lots. The SET was only $5.oo. SOLD!!!
A pretty Santa dressed in white.
These are ornaments I found at Walmart 2 years ago.

This lit package was found at Kirklands a few years ago.

A night light and wax warmer featuring Santa in his sleigh.
The soap dispenser and a votive holder

Thanks for your visit. I know this is such a busy time for everyone.
