~~~I added some new pillows~~~

I am adding these pictures cause I found the perfect accent pillow RIGHT HERE IN THE HOUSE!!!! I had forgotten about this pillow and I think it is the perfect finishing touch! I swear I am done now:):) Thanks for putting up with me:):)

Good morning, friends! The other day I showed you our new bedding for Summer. On Thurs. I was in Burlington Coat Factory and they had SETS of throw pillows for $14.99 a set!!!! I found these 2 square pillows that I thought would be perfect with the new bedding and they ARE!!!! I love ALOT of pillows on the beds!!!! I also remembered I had the small rectangular pillow stashed away so added that too. I would love to find a "neckroll" pillow for that spot but for now it is fine.

 The small pillow has long fringe on it and it has an angel design. If you click on the picture to enlarge you mIGHT see the design.

 I wish I knew how to embroider, I might add something to the center of the pillow, like a bee or butterfly!

NOW, I am happy with the bedding!!!! My hubby is happy that I am happy:):):)  Have a great weekend everyone! WE are going to my GRADE SCHOOL reunion tonight.....I shudder to tell you how many years:):):)    50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XO, Pinky

~~~Our Summer Front Porch~~~

You all have seen the porch before. After all the Easter things were put away I decorated for Summer. This was done several weeks ago but I am just getting around to posting this:) I love to sit out here sometimes and listen to the fountain, when we are not out on the back deck listening to the waterfalls in the pond!

 The driveway is not completed yet! The "crush and run" has to settle for awhile, then they will be back to do the blacktop! Can't wait!!!! Meantime, the impatiens are filling in.

 I got my copper pots as a gift from my son.

 This pagoda was, when I got it, was green ceramic. Last year we decided to paint it black. It was in the driveway drying and the mail person RAN OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, being the amazingly clever guy that he is, my hubby made a new base out of wood!  He also added the bamboo trim and we painted the gold accents to match the lanterns on the tables.

 These pillows came from CTS. They are Sunbrella fabric and were only $4.99 each!!!!!!! I love the print and the colors.

 I put the flash on so you could see better. It was dusk when I took these pictures....the other night before all this RAIN started:)

 These are the lanterns we were trying to match. They came from......Home Goods (of course)!!!!

 This fountain came from Target several years ago. Hubby made the box to surround it and we filled it with stones. It helps with splashing.

 It sounds so nice......

 This guy came from Winterthur MANY years ago! I love him!!!!

~~~A New Season, New Bedding!!!~~~

This is our Master bedroom. And THIS is my new bedding that I got yesterday, on a GOOD sale. I'm not sure if I am going to keep it or not, but got it ion case it was gone when I went back! I wanted to lighten up the LOOK and the FEEL of the room for summer. I get very tired of looking at the same things all the time!!!! I know, bad. The good thing is I HAD the throw pillows already! I think I also have 2 dark green sham covers that I can use.

 Her is how it was all winter. Very pretty but HEAVY. We have a sky light right over the bed and very TALL windows so the sun wakes us up!

 This table was a gift from our son. It was in his shop when he had it. I really love it!

 My nightstand. The dried flowers are my bouquet from my daughter's wedding in Sept. They dried beautifully! Hydrangeas and roses and hipericam berries.

 I do LOVE alot of pillows!

 I also love these bamboo lamps, found at a furniture store at the beach several years ago. I love the shallow shaded for on the nightstands.

This is our TV stand, well it was til we got a flat screen and Mr. hung it on the wall so it can SWIVEL! I love the piece though. I love ANYTHING oriental! I put the flash on for this picture so you couls see it:)

 These pieces were on the coffee table in front of the love seat we have in here. I moved them over here since they look so pretty with the greens in the bedding. The piece on the left is a lantern.

 This painting is from Vietnam, brought back by my FIL.

 This is a fish catchers basket. We have very HIGH ceilings in here, so I hang things UP high!
