Christmas Master bath and Sitting Room

I thought I would share some shots of the master bath and the sitting room adjoining our master bedroom. This bathroom is decorated with some animal print in the towels and artwork. I was lucky enough to find some picks etc. to compliment that theme.

Some gold tipped greens around the jar in the corner and a gold reindeer on the edge of the tub.

Some leopard wrapped packages (that are ornaments from Walmart! on the window sill.

A leopard print poinsettia and gold pinecone picks on the towels.

Another pick on the hand towels.

A faux fur wrapped Santa on the vanity.

Here in the sitting room a gold deer sits on the footstool, and some winter pillows on the loveseat.

This Lenox angel acts as a nightlight.

Some gold tipped candle rings encircle the gold candles.

On my dressing table, one of my favorite Santas plus the little sign that Colleen gave me for my birthday. I LOVE being your Gigi, my sweet girl!!!!!!

Me and my Mom, I think I was about 2 years old.

Thanks so much for your visit. I THOUGHT I was done but last night remembered I forgot one gift so am running out today to get that. I wish you all a VERY merry and blessed Christmas and THANK YOU for your visits, comments and support.

Christmas in the Master bedroom

Good morning! Can you believe Christmas is DAYS away!!?? I am just about ready, whew!!! We are also hosting dinner here this year! My daughter finally decided it was too much since she is doing all the other holidays now. I am happy to be doing it! Will you be hosting or going somewhere?
Anyway, back to the master. This is the room I decorate early in the season. I am using my PB Winter Birds bedding as it will last all through the winter. I found some great new pillows this year; the faux fur ones and the red with fur trim!

Do you notice anything different in here? We finally got plantation shutters in here. It is a funny story. The neighbors behind us wanted full window shutters so we bought these from them at a GREAT price!! I was thrilled. Joe then made the valances. Hopefully we will get this room painted this winter!

At the foot of the bed I used a large nest with greens, pinecone and cardinals! And my large pinecone!

I DO believe:)

I am a bird lover so this bedding makes me happy.

I decided to hang our stockings in here this year. On this side is a plant and I added a bird and red pinecone.. A flocked nest with birds sits next to it.

On this side is a pottery Santa and a faux plant with some birds.

See the bird on Santa's hat?

The faux fir throw is used on COLD nights.

The large white Santa sits on a basket and a faux fur tree skirt encircles him.

Over in the sitting area I placed this gold deer.

Joe's dresser has 2 nutcrackers.

My dresser is a tribute to my Mom. She made some of the things that Santa holds. I thought I had gotten a close up but didn't. The 2 gold trees sparkle. And the smaller gold trees are candles.

A Plaid Winter Guest Room!

Since the guest room is decorated this year, just as last year, I decided to repost this. I love, love the plaid. It is still a great look. I remember when I showed Colleen the room as I recount here in the post. So, here is where the post started last year:This year I added a lot more plaid to the guest room. A few weeks ago, our little Colleen came over and I told her to come with me, I had a surprise for her. I told her I made her her own special room!!! Well, she loved it and right away said, Oh Gigi, come lay down with me on this bed":):) So we did and then she explored: the dog, reindeer, Santas etc. I hope you all like it too! I decided to place this wreath here. I had the plaid ribbon and the bird with the plaid hat so made a wreath for the guest room to REALLY welcome guests!
