~~~ CA RAAAASSSHHHHH!!!~~~
 Well! I thought I would share our mini disaster today!!!! We had a FULL mirror over the double vanity in the downstairs bathroom, but it was cracked. So, we thought we should replace it. We borrowed 2 mirrors that would fit in this space. So, today Joe decided to take the old one down and paint around where the 2 new mirrors would go. He started to take the mirror down but thought maybe it would be too heavy for one person. So, he put the clip back in, ran to the workroom and heard CRASH!!!!!!!
 The mirror had come out of the wall and broken into a ZILLION pieces!!!!
 They were on the bathroom floor, in the closet that Dave is using, in the bar area and even out to the rec room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERY WHERE!!!!!
 So, Joe got most of it up with a dust pan and brush, then I used the shop vac then the central vacuum.
 This is a big recycle bin and it is half full!
 On the bright side: we were going to throw it out anyway so now it is more manageable;):):)
I will show you the new mirrors when Joe gets them hung, he is working on that right now. Thanks for stopping by. XO, Pinky
What a mess!! And when we took our big mirror out of one of our bathrooms we couldn't break it with a hammer!
I hope that is all of your bad luck!
Wow! Good thing you weren't close by and didn't get hit by any of it! Well I guess that's one way of getting it out of the room!
Wow, Pinky, that is crazy! Glad you didn't want to keep it. Thanks for stopping by & for all your sweet comments. I hear you are moving & getting your house ready to sell. I wish you the best! I hope to be moving in my house by Fall. We've got a long ways to go, but it will be a joyful day when I get there.
Oh my, I bet that was hard trying to get all the shards and little pieces picked up from the floor.
oh, no! hope its not what they say about 7 years!! And I guess it came down the easy way and no one got hurt! Can you make something with all the broken pieces - maybe cover a clay pot in mosaics??
Uh, oh, that is a whole lot of bad luck, you know. Just kidding. Well, good thing it was coming out anyway.
Gosh, I hope you're not superstitious......otherwise you're in for 7 yrs bad luck. ha! Good thing that noone got hurt by it. That could've been painful if you were standing there when it came down.
Thank goodness no one was in the room when it fell!!! That could have been a MUCH bigger disaster! Wow...scary, messy, and crazy all at once! I guess the good news is that it is so far gone that you can't reconsider putting it back up there instead of what you had in mind! So glad everyone's OK!!!
