Hi my sweet readers and followers. Have I told you lately how much I appreciate each and every one of you? You all are the best!!! Fall is such a beautiful time of year, full of Nature's BOUNTY!!!! The colors all around us are so inspiring. It is my time of year and in that spirit I wanted to set a pretty table just for YOU!!! I hope you will enjoy it. I wish each of you could come and share at this table. The morning sun was streaming into the sliding glass doors in the breakfast room and making GORGEOUS shadows on the table!!!
I started out with this beautiful tablecloth that I purchsed many years ago and so don't remember where I got it. It is one of my favorites though! Because the tablecloth is so FILLED with flowers and COLOR I decided to go with a simple, PLAIN palette of dishes. I layered a rust colored charger, my green square dinner plate, a pretty creamy scalloped edged and embellished salad plate and different leaf plates! All topped off with a pumpkin or gourd!
Two napkins are gathered and FLUFFED in a flower napkin ring from Pier 1. The Pine cone ball in the arrangement brings a BIG 9organic statement to the table!
My yellow ceramic gourd is part of the centerpiece too, along with a dried artichoke and leaves. Dried hydrangeas from my yard, berries and a faux acorn too.
Candles are a must for me on any table, day or night! They just bring such ambiance to our tables.
I wound 2 different candle rings together to make another LUSH statement.
My leaf and acorn pitcher will be used for either water or CIDER!!!! Cider is one of my favorite things about Fall. I dring it cold or WARMED in the microwave!!!!
My brown bubble glasses can be filled with either drink. Which would you prefer?
A small acorn dish. I love the embellishment on this dish.
Another pretty "shadow shot". Can you see how the pumpkin is reflected in the dish!!??
This large bowl goes with the cream salad plates and will be used for fruit salad.
I used my cream flatware to keep it simple but to also bring out the cream color in the tablecloth.
Some beautiful fall flowers: dahlia, hydrangea, ranunculus and berries!
I tucked a sprig of berries or acorns between the dishes at each place setting for interest.
Detail of the candleholders.
I love the large, FAUX cabbage. It is so realistic and will last for many years!!!!
Here is a detail of the tablecloth. Golds, creams, orange, greens, and a touch of blue all on a chocolate brown background.
My DOLLAR STORE S and P are used every day here at our house. One is a pumpkin and the other an acorn!
I ADORE sunflowers. I apologize that this is blurry, I get so excited when I see them:):):)
A few more shadow shots. This is so pretty to me!!!!
Thanks SO much for joining me today!!!! You all are so special to me! I will be joining several parties this week and I hope you will click on over and see all the wondeful inspiration that these amazing bloggers share!!!! XO, Pinky Tablescape Thursday and

ReplyDeleteThis fall combination for a table is stunning! I've been redoing the dining room in my pool house, and it's so nice to have a new look! I've had so much fun getting things put together, like I'm sure you have. I don't know about you, but the next thing on my list is getting my pool deck waterproofed!
