~~~A Little More Fall!!!~~~
 Hi everyone! First I want to thank you all for your concern and prayers during Sandy We are so very fortunate, had no damage or flooding and didn't even lose our power. I feel so bad, and pray for all those who did sustain damge and losses. So, yesterday Joe and I stayed downstairs all day in the basement and kept checking the sump pump and also emptied about 15 boxes and organized the rest into sections in the basement. I found a box of Fall decor items that I hadn't located yet:) So, here are a few new things in the kitchen now. I love this black iron pumpkin candle holder. I embellished it with a leaf garland and a few fall picks.
 I found my Favorite fall lamp too!
 I love the raised pinecones and branch on it.
 This is my copper pumpkin that my son, Brian, gave me many years ago. It sat on the fridge in the old house, but has a new home here:)
So, that's it for now. I can't believe that very soon we all will be decorating for CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!! I know that some of you have already started! I am anxious to see what I can use here in this new house and where I will put things. It will be alot of fun. And those things that I can't use I will give to our daughter for HER new house!!!!   3. Pinky, glad to hear that you guys weathered the storm ok! Sounds like you were able to occupy your time and be productive at the same time. Love your fall accents. I'm sure you are having fun decorating the new house!
  4. Glad your new home was safe and sound. I am grateful for minimal discomfort, as the rest of my town was hit very hard. There are streets flooded and impassable, water up to the roofs in some cases, and lots of power outages. Phones are out, too. But my power came back at 6 AM and I am so thankful. I love that copper pumpkin, I never saw one like it. xo
  8. Pinky,
    Love the touches of Fall in your new home!!! Your favorite lamp is the "soul mate" to the two pinecone planters filled with real pinecones on our hearth. They stay out all year long!!! Thank God you and Joe are safe!!! Prayers answered, indeed, dear friend!
    Fondly,
    Pat
  12. Pinky-So glad you are safe. Thought of you and prayed for all those affected by the storm. Kept seeing Pa. on the map, and when they mentioned Lake Erie, I thought Pa. is going to get hit. So glad it wasn't too bad for you and Yvonne. Hurricanes are awful no matter which coast they hit; massive damage and uprooting of people's lives.
    Love your home!!
  15. So glad Sandy didn't give you any problems. We have had several hurricanes here, but that just means I know how awful they are, and how destructive they can be. Glad you were safe.
