A little bird is perched on the chair, just thought; I should have added some bird seed onto the chair:)
I have 2 of these TINY garden gloves so they sit at the corner of the bamboo charger/placemat.
I had started out with this green napkin, then remembered I had the blue ones that match the plates so much better.
The Napolean bee flatware is used alot in the summer!
A blue goblet and bee glass will be filled with your favorite beverage.
The bird votives make a pretty glow at night.
Love this. I got it at Kirklands many years ago.
The hydrangeas are from the old house. The ones here are JUST starting to bloom!
Another nest is nestled at the base of the vase.
PALE blue.
I love the pattern and colors on these dishes. They seem to have a slight Asain look to them, and you know I LOVE that!
Another bee skep sits at the end of the barscape.
I wish you SUNSHINE !!!! Thanks for stopping by. I will be linking to:

Your table is so pretty, Pinky.
ReplyDeleteYou reminded me, I need to use my little chair napkin rings again. I keep forgetting them.
Pinky, I adore this table and the dinner plates!! Hope the sun keeps shining on you :-) xo
ReplyDeleteLove the blue glasses! I've never been a fan of blue but lately I love it!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Pinky!...I just love those dishes!..and bird decor is just a favorite of mine!!..
ReplyDeletePinky,
ReplyDeleteSummertime dining in all of its finest, dear friend!!!
I, too, keep our dining table set for two everyday! Makes me smile when I think of how formal my MoMa's table was in our home as a child.
Atop our white linen or damasked starched tablecloth were three pieces on the large round dining table. Usually white milkglass bowl filled with REAL fruit. The bowl was flanked by matching candleholders on each side with pastel hued tapers. That's it! Nothing else!!!
Before I was allowed to help with the cooking, it was my job to get out the placemats and set the table each evening for our meals. Guess that's why I still love setting the table!!!
Have you combined these plates with your bamboo edged dinner plates before in a tablescape??? If so, I somehow missed it, dear friend!!!
Love your blue bubble glass with the bee goblets! ( I use my bee goblets every morning for my OJ!)The bee flatware is something I've shopped for before, but to no avail. Someday, perhaps.
Thanks for sharing this lovely birds and bees tablescape with us, dear friend!!!
Fondly,
Pat
I love everything about this setting! And, I agree, it was so nice to see such a pretty table setting when we visited.
ReplyDeleteI really love that little nest that hangs from your vase . . . it is just so cute and your dishes are just beautiful!
so many pretty things, Pinky. I'm such a birdie lover, your plates are gorgeous!! Love the hydrangeas, too, they're the perfect compliment!!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Love your table, little bird, nests...everything! Hope you'll add Amaze Me Monday to your party list!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Cindy
Love your barscape Pinky with your bird plates and adorable chair napkin rings! Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers. Ours have been beat within an inch of their lives from torrential rains. Hope you're enjoying some sunshine :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table....just beautiful! Love the glasses and flatware. The detail you put into this table is wonderful, good job!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful setting Pinky. The little birds on the chairs stole the show, so cute. The plates and blue glasses are pretty.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Katherine's Blog hop! I love this place setting..in fact I pinned it! I have been excitedly collecting flatware and table settings as we just became first time home owners. I am using a lot of decor that brings the outdoor in and have been loving birds as part of that. The way you put birds in those little chairs was so cute!! We have similar taste as I too shop at Kirklands, and I immediately noticed the bee flatware as I almost bought it at Horchow recently! I opted for another set instead, but may still have to pick up the bee too. Thanks for sharing your beautiful setting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Love all the touches and attention to detail. The bamboo chargers are the perfect touch. Your plates are stunning. I have never seen them. Have a nice week.
