The other day I took some pictures of our Hydrangea flowers. We have never had this type of hydrangea before and I am loving the BIG, beautiful, LONG LASTING heads they have! The colors go from white with a green tint to a beautiful cramy color tinged with PINK!!!! I smile when I see them and am drying some to keep too. Here are a few shots.
This one is HUGE! It is the size of four other flowers.
The pink hues are so pretty.
This one is JUST starting to turn. We all age at a different rate, huh???:):)
I am sorry I have been missing but last Wed. I was in a car accident. I got rear ended by a very young girl, who I belive was texting.Luckily, neither of us was hurt, thank God. Cars can be repaired. We got the estimate today and it is $5100.00 in damage to my car. Today I got a rental car til I get mine back so there has been alot going on. Plus the holiday weekend, we also have had 4 showings at the old house. But FALL is approaching and I am very excited about that. Thanks so much for stopping by. I promise to have more posts up in the coming days. XO, Pinky

The flowers are so pretty, wish I had planted some but just didn't get around to buying any.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad no one was hurt, texting is so bad while driving, I hope she learned her lesson.
I hope the young girl learned her lesson.
ReplyDeleteYour hydrangeas are just beautiful. Mine were just okay this year.
One of my absolutely favorite flowering bushes! I used to have these but now have the Annabelle, which, for me, get more foliage on them in northern Colorado. I love them all though!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you were not injured.
ReplyDeleteYour hydrangeas are so lush and beautiful! Don't stress it, all will be well soon.
Hugs,
Patti
These are so pretty, Pinky! Sure hope our hydrangeas come back next year!
ReplyDeletethe flowers are lovely, but thank heavens you are ok, with that kind of price tag it seems you were extremly lucky!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I'm so glad you weren't hurt in the accident. Hope your car will be back together soon. Those hydrangeas are just gorgeous! Love those "Pinky" hues!!

Pinky,
ReplyDeleteGorgeous hydrangea, dear friend!!!
Love how the hues change. . .
I don't think I ever knew that about the blossoms!
Thanks for your tips on my Spring "silk" arrangement. I'll be on the "look~out" for the John Henry product!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Love these! I planted 8 Limelights last year and have really enjoyed them this year so far!! Love the transitioning colors!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're ok! I love the flowers. I've managed to keep my hydrangea alive since Easter. It hasn't bloomed but it continually has new growth.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that you weren't injured. Had the same thing happen to me several years ago and left me with permanent back pain. Love your hydrangeas -- one of my favorite flowers! Yours are beautiful.
