I Changed the Mantle!

Yup, even though it is snowy, cold and WINTER outside I needed a little change. Since I had changed the credenza and the coffee table, I changed the mantle too.  I am antsy as heck for Spring but it just isn't here yet. So this is an in between mantle. Who knows, it could change again:) This jar, even though it is not old (I found it at Home Goods several years ago) is a favorite of mine. It is metal, I love the handle and the details.
This is the Mama elephant of the set from my in-laws. Such beautiful craftmanship!! Carved from one piece of wood, beautiful.
That is a box in the center that looks like a large piece of bamboo.
The 2 end pieces were purchased at the place where I used to work. I just filled them with simple greens. Love the height, perfect for the mantle!

I found this picture, several years ago at World Market. We used to have one nearby but it is gone and I REALLY miss it!!!!
I added the garland of greens for some softness on the stone mantle.

Thanks for your visit!!! XO, Pinky

  2. Pinky your mantel is stunning; just my cuppa tea, all the gorgeous Oriental things, you know I love them!
Love the jar and that great elephant. I just went to drool over a FABULOUS store with all the most amazing Oriental stuff. I'm so glad I have a few things and dishes, otherwise, I'd simply go broke there, lol!
