Christmas Mantle and Hearth, 2015

I try to change up my mantle a little each year but some things have become staples. Last year I had all different trees on the mantle, this year I added deer! The grapevine deer in the center of the wreath is a staple. We found him years ago at an antique store in Lancaster, Pa. We added the sleigh bells strap around his neck and the red for his nose.
I have decorated the wreath with pinecone pods sprayed gold, gold pinecones and hydrangeas from the yard.
Some red berries and gold sticks are added too. It is my version of rustic glam:)

The 2 gold trees on each end were purchased several years ago. They are great for a mantle because they are very slim.

I also added a beaded garland

The 2 green trees are glass. I got them at Kirklands on clearance one year for less than $5.00 each!
The gold lacy deer move all over the house in different years.

On the hearth I have the 2 seeded deer that you saw on an earlier post and some Santas. This Santa is one of the Polish Santas, and has a doll that is from Krakow. It is written on the base.
This one riding a tricycle is a Joyce Ditz, and he is carrying some trees!
The 2 end Santas are hand made by a lady in Texas. Both of them are Polish Santas. She researches what they would wear and sends you the info with the Santa. We have 2 of the Polish Santas because this is the one we gave Joe's parents one year and have now inherited it back.
