The stairway has the blue and white pots but new candles that are on a remote and springy candle rings. I also added one of my favorite elephants.
I moved these 2 pieces from the foyer to this tiered piece. As my friend Shirley from Housepitality Designs says, the accessory shuffle:)
The water bearer is a favorite piece that I inherited. The faux bonsai tree on the other side of the elephant lamp. Those lamps were inherited also. They were purchased by my FIL in India.
This table gets changed out many times a year.
I added some more blue and white to this sofa table.
In this corner by the hearth I have my faux orchid, another jar and in the planter I added faux green apples and my iron sphere.
The back of the screen is painted with bamboo so pretty from this side too!
I put my Christmas cactus in this footed pot. It also has handles that you can't see.
I have enjoyed these vignettes for several weeks and soon some things will move again. I can't be still sometimes:) I have even been thinking about how I might be able to rearrange the furniture. We'll see.
XO, Pinky

DeleteLove all of that blue and white mixed in!! Especially by the stair...swooning!! (although it wouldn't make a day in my house lol!!) We can't wait to get the spring out as well....love it!
ReplyDeletePinky,
ReplyDeleteGirlfriend, you and I have been bit by the same bug!
I, too, am antsy to shuffle accessories and furnishings!
If only the weather would decide what Season it is!
We're having record HIGH temperatures here on the Prairie, suppose to be 80 today!
I adore all your blue and white jars and planters with the "green" real and faux!
I'll be watching for the upcoming changes in your homeoffice!
Fondly,
Pat
I am very jealous, Pat!:) I am hoping for the weatger to turn but they are calling for a storm next week: and havn't decided yet if it will be rain or snow....
DeleteBeautiful winter vignettes Pinky...I so know what you mean about cabin fever; however, things are really looking bright and sunny here!!....Hope the weather gives you a break soon!...I did check yur weather up there for a possible trip, but it looks like some snow next week...not a good time!
ReplyDeleteI know, they say we could get rain or snow, depending on how the track goes. Maybe the week after it will be nicer. I would LOVE to see you and get together!!!!!
DeleteI know the feeling of being cooped up and wanting to make changes, Pinky. You have some really neat vignettes. I think your home is stunning...very relaxing and pretty. Your staircase is awesome, I've never seen anything like it!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have better weather coming your way!
Jane
Yes, Winter can make us feel stir crazy when the weather is bad. You always seem to create lovely vignettes. Love your blue and white jars.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on creating pretty vignettes Pinky. xo
I like all your vignettes. You have such nice pieces. Did you get the iron sphere at Terrain? I love that place. I get emails from them and always scour their things.
ReplyDeleteSince I have a lifelong love of blue, I love your vignettes. I find that I want things to change up too. Maybe it's part of our biological makeup. Anyway, enjoyed your home and look forward to seeing what you do next.
ReplyDeleteWow you have such beautiful pieces! I too just love blue and white! It has such an elegant look to it!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. You have gorgeous accessories. Sheila
