I wanted something live, some great texture, and something unexpected.
For lots of texture I gathered a feather ball, a wooden ball with an animal print, an antler shed and a turtle shell.
Everything is gathered in this great basket tray.
Early evening I lit the candle, and actually caught some of the early blue hour.
The twig ball is another bit of texture.
Have you started to decorate for Fall yet?

Love your coffee table vignette, Pinky! I enjoy the transitioning period because it gives us a fresh perspective for decor. Can't wait to see your Fall decor!
ReplyDeleteNot me -- but this is Fall done right! That monkey is too cool with the giraffe candle. (My husband would love that!) This is so much more elegant than a lot of what I see. Nice job.
ReplyDeletePinky,
ReplyDeleteLove your transitioning into Autumn trayscape, dear friend!
Love all the textures and the green plants!
Yes! I'm nearing the final stages of Autumn decor!
While vacationing in Tulsa this year, I saw a unique design
using a tortoise shell. I'm having "Mr. Ed" attempt the "look" for me!
As soon as he finishes. . .I'll share!
Fondly,
Pat
Your coffee table vignette is lovely, Pinky! I love all of the elements that you incorporated into it. I have been doing some rearranging and planning to get ready for Fall Decorating. I'm ready for cooler temperatures too! I hope that you have a wonderful Wednesday!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Pinky, love your style.
ReplyDeleteI love your vignette on the coffee table Pinky and seeing your room in the early evening. I try to not start the fall decorating until mid September but I admit I've been thinking about it a lot. It is a transitional period with late summer and not quite being fall isn't it!
ReplyDeleteThat illustration is more than beautiful and lively. Animal printed rug is drawing attention. Whole illustration is looking amazing in evening lights.
ReplyDeleteHi Pinky! Your coffee table vignette has so much character! Love it... and that awesome zebra rug!! Thanks for sharing at Dishing It & Digging It! We enjoy your creativity each week! :)
ReplyDeleteYour blog A Transitional Coffee Table Vignette is really impressive. I read this and can say it is one of the best blog on this topic. Great Job!
