Easter on the Mantle and Hearth!

Good morning! And, HAPPY SPRING!!!!! I am so glad it is officially Spring as I am DYING to get outside and do some gardening! I have to admit that I just LOVE bunnies! When you come into my house you can tell, I have a pretty large collection of them:) I love to decorate the mantle and hearth with them for Easter! I got a set of 5 LED candles at Costco. They have a timer and a remote which I love! You will see them lit further down in the post.
The elephants and carved lanterns are a staple on the hearth now. I really love them both on here.
On the mantle I placed 2 white bunnies. One has some mini flowers in her basket and the other has a head of lettuce. I decided to light the candles, just for you:)
On the mantle I placed a head of cabbage, some large eggs, and some flowers.
The blue and white jar is surrounded with some egg and flower branches.

I made an arrangement of white tulips and blue berry stems in another blue and white vase. Next to it is a large bunny from Pier 1 and the egg opens and is a candle. It was a gift from my daughter's sister-in-law.

The lanterns come on and the candles at dusk. I love the glow!

Oh, and the set of candles from Costco was $20.00!!!!!

Thanks so much for your visit.

Spring Welcome!

Even though the calendar says it is Spring, Mother Nature has not gotten the memo:( BUT, I welcome Spring inside and outside. I was waiting for something to share this welcome with you and finally got it yesterday! I made this wreath 2 years ago. I am still liking it but am making a new wreath for Spring/Summer that is not too "eastery".

On my little front "porch" I have this little bunny planter and filled it with faux flowers as I haven't found peonies yet!
This little guy is nestled by the column.
My bunny flag will stay here for awhile too.

I filled my lantern with Easter grass, pretty eggs, (I cut apart a garland), a plate and some carrots and a bow.
Not sure why this next picture got placed like this....
I filled my pot with some faux flowers for now.

The green and white plaid rug is my new purchase! I LOVE it! Got it at Target online.  I like layering rugs here by the door! It was just rolled out so isn't flat yet but I wanted to share it with you.

Bunnies in the Kitchen!!

Good morning. Some of my bunnies hopped right over to the kitchen! I confessed in my last post that I love bunnies. I actually had a lot more but gave some to my daughter when they built their house. I like being surrounded by the bunnies as I work in the kitchen. These plates were purchased a few years ago and I decided to use them here on the buffet area and.....

Inside the glass front cabinets. I like to add some seasonal dishes in these cabinets.
On the buffet area are my script bunnies and some found nests from the yard.
There are still 2 eggs in this nest that didn't hatch.

In the center I placed this pretty plate. Then I ran an egg garland around everything.
The other script bunny and another nest.

Over by the sink I always do a little vignette with a lamp and some other items. This is one of my favorite lamps, I will probably never get rid of it.

My sister sent me these 2 bunnies last year and they hopped right up to the top of the fridge:)
I have also had this candle holder for YEARS! I have a gardenia scented candle in it and it makes the house smell SOOOO good!
A ceramic egg rests on a ceramic pedestal.
Over by the stove I have a utensil holder, a ceramic bucket that I filled with faux flowers, and another arrangement of faux grasses with 2 tiny bunnies peeking out.

This is right when we walk in from the garage so I try to keep a dish here for Joe's wallet. I also placed one of my faux chocolate bunnies on a pedestal and a faux chocolate large egg filled with other eggs!

The view from the buffet area.

This bunny was made for me by a friend of over 40 years. The base is an empty soda bottle!

Thanks so much for your visit. If you were here I wold make you something to eat!
