Easter Dinner, 20102

 Good Easter Evening my dear friends!!!! I hope your Easter Sunday was sunny and bright and you were surrounded by family and friends and FUN!!! We had my daughter's in-laws and had a wonderful time all together. I didn't get any pictures of the family but the baby is getting BIG and he is so stinkin CUTE!!!!! He will be 2 in July. This was a bittersweet dinner as it was the last holiday dinner we will have here at this house......after 28 years!!!! Hard to wrap my head around yet. But, on to our dinner. I moved away from the all pastel hues of last weeks table to a more subtle and organic look for today. An Easter green tablecloth started off the elements.
 I placed my egg wreath in the center of the table, placed a clear glass cake holder in the middle of that then my straw bunny on that!
 He is so cute!
 I loved the look of the moss on the wreath with his straw body. Do you see the carrots in his basket?
 Onto the tablecloth I used my wicker type chargers, that remnd me of an Easter bonnet, then a square cream dinner plate, an Easter green plate, a cream with brown band salad plate, then an egg shaped plate for the GOODIES!!!
 I used my well loved brown bamboo flatware, it brings out the brown on the edge of the egg plate and the brown edged salad plate.
 Green pillars work well on this table.
 Here you can see the design on the tablecloth.
 Here is a shot of the whole table.
 I found these cute little boxes at CTS a few months ago and knew they would be a perfect "take home gift" for our guests!!!! I love to have a little something for everyone.

 My sweet ceramic bunnies didn't want to be left out of the celebration!

 They look like they were foil wrapped and someone started to unwrap them:)
 Looks good enough to eat, huh?

 My daughter bought everyone a Hersheys bunny because they are her very FAVORITE!!!!
 Thanks, Tracy!!!!

 Here is the ham right before it went into the oven. It was SO good.

 I used paper napkins tonight since I knew dinner would be pretty messy, and we had the baby at the table too:):)
Easter blessings to you all!!!! I will link to these fun parties this week:

~~~Easter Table for our Dinner Group~~~
 Happy Easter week! This past Friday evening we hosted our dinner group. So, I set an Easter table for us. I will use these dishes again on Easter Sunday when the family is all here! I wish my son could join us but he is in Fl. And our SIL's sister is serving our country in Germany. But they will be here in our hearts. I love this arrangement of faux tulips, I just didn't have time to run to the store for real ones which I would have preferred. We had a realtor here for 3 hours Fri. afternoon so time was crunched:) Here is the place setting. I used a crisp white tablecloth, a straw blue placemat, then my woven chargers. They remind me of an Easter basket! Then my polka dot dinner plates topped with a polka dot egg salad plate.
 I have 2 different Easter napkins so alternated them at the table. This brings some more interest to the setting!
 I had only purchased 8 of the egg plates so I used these pink flower plates at each end. And they have a cutwork napkin.
 The Napolean Bee flatware seems perfect for an Easter setting!
 The bunny and egg S and P sit on a glass dish.
 I placed the PINK pillars on a chippy wooden holder but lowered them for dinner. A pretty egg ring surrounds the pillars. I found these at World Market this winter when we were in Florida.
 I used my green water goblets and clear wine glasses. I took the pics before I had the wine glasses on the table. I can not BELIEVE how many glasses 10 people can use in one night:):):) I also lowered the centerpiece for easy conversation at dinner.
 Each guest got some jelly beans in these cute egg dishes I found at CTS. I think they are SO cute!
 Looking down the table. Our daughter and SIL joined us for this party and it was wonderful to have them!!
 The 2 ceramic bunnies were a gift from my daughter many years ago and I treasure them. I had spotted them WAAAAY up on a shelf at a gift store so told her and she went and got them for me!!!!
 One is sitting and the other is looking for some lettuce, I bet:)
 Pretty tulips...
 Polka dots
 Pretty details of the napkins.
 Here is a shot of the table. I sure had to use a mish mosh of chairs but that was fine. We had a wonderful evening. Here's hoping you all have a beautiful, blessed  Easter and are surrounded by loved ones. Thanks once more for your visit! I will join these linky parties:
