~~~Dinner With GOOD Friends!!!~~~
 Hello! On Monday we had SNOW all day long. I was having 4 girl friends for dinner that night but I stayed calm and set my table and got dinner cooked. I wanted to share my table here today. We DID have dinner, everyone made it here. The roads actually were fine so it worked out. Since it is Easter week, I set an Easter table. My centerpiece is these faux tulips, placed on my clear glass cake stand and surrounded by some tiny pastel eggs.
 The tulip candlesticks are the perfect pairing. I have sweet candle rings for these candlesticks that I just found TODAY:( I am STILL finding things:):)
 At each placesetting I had a small box with a bunny on top that can be filled with CANDY....or whatever you want! The place setting is on my cutwork tablecloth. I placed my basketweave chargers on the table first, then a cabbage leaf placemat, my polka dot dinner plate, my green and white patterned salad plate and a clear glass bowl.
 I used my green handled flatware.
 Here is a shot of the whole table. There were 5 of us so we sat across from each other to make it cozier. I also switched out the middle place setting to the other side to make more room since that side is open to the foyer.
 These chargers always remind me of an Easter basket so I use them every year. I just got the cabbage placemats, I had been SEARCHING for them and found them online.
 Here is the corner of the tablecloth. The dots on the dishes perfectly match the colors in the tablecloth.
 And the detail of the top.
 I also had a bunny placecard holder at each place. And a tiny tealight holder.
 Yvonne gave me the idea of putting the dessert dishes onto the table if room allows. So I placed the egg shaped, polka dot plates on another cake plate, then  some extra napkins and the dessert forks.
 I only have a setting for 4 of the green flatware so mixed my ivory handled flatware too.
 These are the napkins I got at Yvonne's shower for her almost daughter-in-law (who she calls her daughter in love)!!!!
We all had a really nice evening. Our menu was:
Pasta with artichokes and spinach to which I also added chicken  (I will share the recipe soon)
A broccoli casserole
A garden salad
Bakery bread
And for dessert, wonderful cupcakes!!!!
The hostess provides the main dishe and each girl brings something. It makes it much easier for the hostess!!! We try to get together once a month at someone's house.
Thanks so much for your visit. XO, Pinky
~~~My Easter Kitchen Table!!!~~~

Even though the WINDS are blowing, it is pouring rain and we are supposed to get snow tonight, INSIDE it is SPRING!!!! I have pulled out the bunnies to enjoy for a month! Easter is early this year so time's a wastin!!!!  The table in the morning room has been set for SPRING!!! This faux terrarium was a recent find at TJMaxx. I fell in love with it at first sight! I can imagine filling it with all different things. For now we have a pair of bunnies, standing on some Easter grass and surrounded with Easter eggs. Aren't they TOO cute!!?? I love their pale colors.
Along with them is this pair. There is a bunny and a chick. I will show you a better shot of them when I show you the whole kitchen.

To the left of the terrarium, I have a tulip vase with faux tulips. Can you see what else I added to the tulips???? Then there is also a tiny bunny in a small crate. I have some branches of forsythia strewn along the runner too.

To the right is one of my bunnies that is covered with greens and has a forsythia collar. Next to that is another PRIZED possession......
Yvoone, from Stone Gable brought me this beautiful hurricane on the stand with the candle ring and the candle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a housewarming gift when she visited a few weeks ago. I LOVE it!!! Thanks so much, Yvonne!!!
Some details of the embroidery on the runner. This runner is pretty old but still a favorite.

 See her little carrott in the crate. I think she is hungry:)
ASPARAGUS!!! Another springtime favorite around here!

I will show you around the whole kitchen soon. I am having fun figuring out where to put things in this new house.
Thanks SO much for your vist. I so appreciate every one of you!!! XO, Pinky

~~~Easter Table for our Dinner Group~~~
 Happy Easter week! This past Friday evening we hosted our dinner group. So, I set an Easter table for us. I will use these dishes again on Easter Sunday when the family is all here! I wish my son could join us but he is in Fl. And our SIL's sister is serving our country in Germany. But they will be here in our hearts. I love this arrangement of faux tulips, I just didn't have time to run to the store for real ones which I would have preferred. We had a realtor here for 3 hours Fri. afternoon so time was crunched:) Here is the place setting. I used a crisp white tablecloth, a straw blue placemat, then my woven chargers. They remind me of an Easter basket! Then my polka dot dinner plates topped with a polka dot egg salad plate.
 I have 2 different Easter napkins so alternated them at the table. This brings some more interest to the setting!
 I had only purchased 8 of the egg plates so I used these pink flower plates at each end. And they have a cutwork napkin.
 The Napolean Bee flatware seems perfect for an Easter setting!
 The bunny and egg S and P sit on a glass dish.
 I placed the PINK pillars on a chippy wooden holder but lowered them for dinner. A pretty egg ring surrounds the pillars. I found these at World Market this winter when we were in Florida.
 I used my green water goblets and clear wine glasses. I took the pics before I had the wine glasses on the table. I can not BELIEVE how many glasses 10 people can use in one night:):):) I also lowered the centerpiece for easy conversation at dinner.
 Each guest got some jelly beans in these cute egg dishes I found at CTS. I think they are SO cute!
 Looking down the table. Our daughter and SIL joined us for this party and it was wonderful to have them!!
 The 2 ceramic bunnies were a gift from my daughter many years ago and I treasure them. I had spotted them WAAAAY up on a shelf at a gift store so told her and she went and got them for me!!!!
 One is sitting and the other is looking for some lettuce, I bet:)
 Pretty tulips...
 Polka dots
 Pretty details of the napkins.
 Here is a shot of the table. I sure had to use a mish mosh of chairs but that was fine. We had a wonderful evening. Here's hoping you all have a beautiful, blessed  Easter and are surrounded by loved ones. Thanks once more for your visit! I will join these linky parties:
