~~~It's Just Dinner~~~
 Hi everyone!!! I have had ENOUGH of not doing any decent tables so I decided that my FAMILY are the most deserving people of a pretty table and I was going to DO ONE!!!! It is incredibly stressful to have your ENTIRE house "show ready" but that is life here right now. However, I use this pretty runner on the kitchen table for showings so thought, I can do a pretty table using this runner!!!!
 As you can see it is a creamy background with lots of greens and some deep browns too. I love this runner! I used my twiggy chargers that I got at World Market last year when we were in Fl. I SO wish there was a store near me! World Market, are you listening?????? On the charger I placed our grren everyday dishes and a creamy scalloped salad plate. I love these creamy dishes and I got them at Walmart!!! I have been searching for more to no avail:(
 I brought a pot of white lantana in from the deck for our centerpiece. It is in a textured, ceramic pot. I raised it up on an iron stand to give it more presence! And the brown iron stand blends so well with the runner too.
 The glasses are from Home Goods, last year. They had them in a lighter wicker and this dark stain, which I loved.
 Yup, I stood on my step stool to get this birds eye view for you! I am "vertically challenged" so thought I would see what life is like UP HERE:):)
 Detail of the pot, but it is an overcast day so I also took one.....
 with the flash to show you.
 The Target birdy S and P are standards in the summer here.
 And these napkin rings are some of my favorites. I use them often. The very lightly patterned napkin is simply rolled and placed in the ring.
 The lantana has lots of blooms coming out....soon!
We have pretty casual dinners here these nights, so clean up is easy and we can GET OUTTA HERE if we have to on a moments notice:):) Tonight it is a tuna and pasta salad, fruit salad and deviled eggs. Great summer fare. Tomorrow we may dine al fresco out on the deck.....stay tuned:):) Thanks SO much for your visit. Have a wonderful weekend!!! I will be linking to these parties:
~~~I had Lunch at STONE GABLE!!!~~~

 YES!!! You read that correctly! I know you are all DYING. Yvonne and I met through blogging and have become very dear friends. It is a friendship I treasure. She lives in the bucolic countryside of Lancaster county. It is GORGEOUS, and just a 45 minute drive for me. This is not the first time I have been at Stone Gable, we have shared several lunches, dinner and she has been here. I did NOT take pictures at her house, I will leave it to her to blog about our lunch if she wants to. But, I wanted to share this beautiful scenery. This is not Yvonne's house, just an Amish home along the way.
 This part of Lancaster county is Amish country. There are many horse and buggies to see and the MOST adorable little children you will ever lay eyes on!
 I promise, I pulled over and stopped for these shots, I didn't get them while speeding along the road:):)
 But the scenery along the way is spectacular and I wanted to share that. As you can see in my mirror, there was noone behind me:):)
 There are many farms along the way. I saw alot of cows and horses but there was always someone behind me then and I couldn't stop.

 This is the town of Strasburg, Pa. they have a train depot and museum that my hubby and I have seen several times.
 I was STOPPED in traffic, due to road construction and this guy just happened to be here!

Joe and I love to take a day trip, drive up to Lancaster county and shop, have a nice lunch and come home. We have done that MANY times. It is great shopping too. Yvonne is lucky to live in this wonderful area. THANK YOU, Yvonne for another wonderful day together. As you can imagine, lunch was FABULOUS!!!! I was so full, I didn't eat dinner:):) Thanks to you all for stopping by. XO, Pinky

~~~Garden Shots~~~~
 Hello dear friends. I know I have been MIA and I apologize. We finally have the house ON THE MARKET!!!!! We have done a ton of work getting ready. But now I have a few minutes to look around and "smell the roses". So, I thought I would take some pics, around the gardens. The pond is running and the plants are growing. This pale pink astilbe is so soft and delicate looking.
 This is my pair of cranes that I got at Target several years ago. I just love them!
 This deep pink astilbe is SO pretty!!!! I wish I had some white hydrangeas to pair with it.
 One lone daylilly blooming here:)
 I love my fish in the pond. We placed them on bricks to raise them so they look like they are swimming. Kinda;)
 Sorry this one of the waterfall is blurry.
 Joe built this swing many years ago. Last year we stained the frame black. I love it and will miss it. Maybe he will build us a new one in the new house!!!!
 I have 10 hydrangea bushes around the property. ALL of them were plucked out of the TRASH at the florist where I used to work!!!!! They were little tiny plants when we put them in. Now look at them!
 This is a shot of the back deck and patio below.
 I have 6 hydrangeas out front.
 They are in various stages of bloom right now.
 We spread 15 yards of mulch this year. In past years we have spread 30 yards! That comes in a truck almost as big as a tractor trailer. It is a MOUNTAIN of mulch:):) We were young and stronger then:):)
 TA DA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The sign went up last night!!!!!! And I just got a call for a showing tomorrow!!!!!!!!! PLEASE say a little prayer for a quick sale.
Thanks so much for your visit. I so appreciate all of you faithful follwers. I am joining these parties:
~~~The Garage is CLEANED OUT!!!~~~

 Good Sunday evening my friends. Well, we are FINALLY at the finsih line of getting the house ready to sell! Today we cleaned out the garage! It has NOT looked like this in 20 years. We gave away, or sold some of the "equipment" and our SIL is taking the lawn mower, snow blower, tools etc. It is so exciting that we won't need them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 The 2 doors you see here are storage closets. They have been a great feature of the garage and I wish we could have them in the new house. The sleigh will be gone soon. An auction house is coming to get it. It is sad that we can't take it. But it has served us well. Do you remember it on the front porch at Christmas, with Santa sitting in it?
 We had to install a new back garage door. We NEVER used it so when Joe was taking things out he saw that the bottom of the door was rotted. So, we got a new one. We left it white on the inside and painted the outside to match the house. Our next door neighbor told us he HAD NEVER NOTICED THE DOOR THERE til we got the new one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That shelving is scaffolding that Joe made to do the trim around the living room fireplace. We then brought it out here and I used it for a work table.

The house goes on the market in the morning. I am praying we get a good, quick sale. Please keep your fingers crossed for us. This has been an arduous journey but hopefully worth all our hard work. Thanks for your patience too. I know I have been remiss in not posting but just haven't had time. I didn't even sit at my computer this week for days. Hopefully, now I will be able to get BACK to blogging! I am going to link up to these parties this week..........if I remember:):)   XO, Pinky
