The 2 doors you see here are storage closets. They have been a great feature of the garage and I wish we could have them in the new house. The sleigh will be gone soon. An auction house is coming to get it. It is sad that we can't take it. But it has served us well. Do you remember it on the front porch at Christmas, with Santa sitting in it?
We had to install a new back garage door. We NEVER used it so when Joe was taking things out he saw that the bottom of the door was rotted. So, we got a new one. We left it white on the inside and painted the outside to match the house. Our next door neighbor told us he HAD NEVER NOTICED THE DOOR THERE til we got the new one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That shelving is scaffolding that Joe made to do the trim around the living room fireplace. We then brought it out here and I used it for a work table.
The house goes on the market in the morning. I am praying we get a good, quick sale. Please keep your fingers crossed for us. This has been an arduous journey but hopefully worth all our hard work. Thanks for your patience too. I know I have been remiss in not posting but just haven't had time. I didn't even sit at my computer this week for days. Hopefully, now I will be able to get BACK to blogging! I am going to link up to these parties this week..........if I remember:):) XO, Pinky

ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteDesigns by Pinky
A real impressive post! I am in fact pleased to glance at this blog’s posts which contain plenty of useful data.
Pinky~ I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! I can only imagine the WORK involved so far~ our garage has never looked like that :)
ReplyDeleteI've read a few of your moving posts, Pinky, and it sounds like it has been quite a job. I hate moving and it makes me tired just reading about you going through it. Your garage looks fantastic and I'm sure it will impress any potential buyer. Hope you find that buyer quickly.
ReplyDeleteI understand why you don't have much time. Great job and I know you feel much better...lighter too. I think when we declutter, donate, toss, etc. it is a "feel good" experience.
ReplyDeleteMuch luck with the sale!
