The poinsettia ornaments were found at LOWES!!!
I LOVE bling and these ornaments are full of bling!
Here are some tips for decorating your tree. I use long sparkly branches resting on the tree branches. You just kind of push them in and they fill in the spaces wonderfully. I have a combination of red and gold branches on the tree.
Here is one type of the gold branches.
I also have several styles of crystal (faux) hanging pieces.
I love these stars.
The "crystals" just sparkle in the sunlight. We haven't had any sun in days so these are not the best pictures and I apologize.
These are cut out.
This is my favorite ornament, I think.
My topper is 2 large bows attached at the front and the back. Then a variety of sticks are inserted into the top of the tree. I actually keep the topper decorated when I take the tree down. I put tissue paper into the loops of the bows to keep them nice.
My view from the kitchen. We put the table on an angle to accomodate the tree and I like it!
The green ornament is one of 3 that I have that my Mom made MANY years ago.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my tree. I appreciate every visit and read every comment and try to respond. XO, Pinky

ReplyDeleteMy camera is a Canon Rebel T2i. I used a 50mm lens for the pictures on the blog today. I didn't take any lessons. I did research and I continue to practice whenever possible. Today, the light was perfect in the kitchen and I decided to practice. Had no idea what kind of pics I would get. I used Photoscape to edit them a tad. I never hesitate to edit.:-)
Oh Pinky, your home, tree and decorations are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a job it must have been to set up the tree and get it decorated.
