Well, a dear fellow blogger told me to upload in HTML mode and it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much, Michelle!!!! I have been wanting to share with you my new table setting. It is a fun, wintery, but not Christmas table that will serve us well for awhile.
I am using this cute snowman on a snowman cake plate for my centerpiece. I put some large snowflakes on the cake plate first. As you can see, the tablecloth is red and covered in snowflakes!!!! Cooincidently, this morning we woke to a light dusting of snow!!! The sun was coming through the windows this morning and lit this up so cute!!!
I also have these cute snowflake place card holders. Joe made me the place cards on the computer. The snowflake glasses and the clear goblets are both from Dollar Tree!!!
These new napkin rings are like a mini charm bracelet and have several different "charms", one of which is a snowflake!
These cute bowls will be filled with Joe's delicious chili! My stack of plates are a solid red dinner plate, the snowflake salad plate from Walmrt last year and the snowflake bowl. In between the dinner and salad plates I places a large snowflake for some PIZAZZ!!!!
Yes, I still have my tree up. I am going to Florida for a few days on Tuesday so am waiting til I get back to "dedecorate":) Candles add a soft glow and a feeling of warmth.
Here is a peek at the base of the cake plate. Yup, it's a snowman! And of course we have our snowman S and P.
This divided dish is usually used for appetizers but could be used for bread and cheese for topping the chili.
And just for fun I am including a shot of my snowman lamp, that is on the bakers rack next to the table. Thanks SO much for your visit. I so appreciate all your sweet comments and support. I will join these parties this week:

ReplyDeleteHi Pinky. I love the snowman theme. I do the same until at least February. It makes the let-down after Christmas easier to take! I don't have as many pretties as you though. I love it all..Happy Sunday..Judy
ReplyDeleteAdorable table Pinky! I love your glittery snowman and the bracelets as napkin rings are genius! I wish I had left our tree up one more week, the house looks empty without it! Have a fun and safe trip to Florida, you can build a snowman in the sand :)
ReplyDeletePinky, did you figure out what was going on with uploading your pics? It hit me this a.m. like a ton of bricks that happened to me late last summer and I had to purchase more storage from blogger to continue. I recall something like it being $10.00 or something like that. I hope this helps you out if you haven't already figured things out.. hugs ~lynne ~
ReplyDeletePinky, I love your snowflake decorated table! It reminds me of the runner I used on my table this past Christmas. Red and white is so cheery. Btw, I am having the same problem with uploading pics this morning! I'm going to have to take Michele's advise and see if that will work. Glad that you shared the solution!

I'm so happy to see you still have your tree up (so do we!) and it does make a festive backdrop to your table.

P.S. You asked about the acrylic trees I used on my table - I got some from Pharmasave (Canadian drug store chain) and some from Sears catalogue.

Your table is gorgeous Pinky! I love the snowflake dishes....so pretty! I love, love, love that tablecloth! Where did you get it? The same thing has been happening to me with the pictures not uploading to blogger! It is very frustrating for sure! I have been using HTML as well. It has happened a few times before, but never for this many days in a row! I have read that other people are having the same problem, so it's nice to know that I am not alone! Angie xo
