Checking under a bush...
Mama and one of the babies. The babies still have some dots on them:) See th food in her mouth? We have mealworms in the feeder.
Feeding her little one!
I am betting this is a male baby, because of the brighter coloring.
SO cute!!!!
Here is Papa feeding one of them. Now they need to learn to get in the feeder themselves:)
3 of the babies, along with Papa, waiting on the porch roof for some goodies:)
Male baby looking up at his siblings:)
Papa and baby.
So sweet. I know this is where we are supposed to be. This is a fun place to live:):)

That's so awesome Pinky! I enjoyed the photos!
ReplyDeletePinky, thank you so much for posting these pictures! I just love bluebirds. We have had them in the past, but over the past few years the finches have taken over our bluebird house. I was removing their eggs daily and I just didn't have the heart to continue doing that.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are wonderful, especially the babies!
Pinky,
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the baby bluebirds in your yard, on the roof and at the feeders!!!
Amazing that you were able to get these wonderful nature photos!!!
Thanks for sharing "the joys of Spring" with us!!!
Fondly,
Pat
How precious!! You really have a great view of them from inside your house. That's so neat that they started nesting so soon after you set up everything. I love looking at birds and bluebirds are one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!! You got some really good pics of that family. How fun to watch that on a daily basis.
ReplyDeleteThose are great pictures of mama & papa bluebirds and their precious little babies! Papa is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeletePinky, I LOVE your wonderful shots of the adults with their babies, oh so cute! We have bluebirds that nest every year in our house, then the juveniles help raise the next brood, so maybe you'll have another set! I've never been able to capture a photo of them! Thanks for sharing these :)
ReplyDeleteLove bluebirds! I am surprised they would build in your subdivision...is there a open field/area across from you? We have them in our subdivision also...if someone puts up a box near a retention area that is open...they get them so we plan on it when we return. We have just one of our boxs here with eggs in it...Dale showed it to the buyers! On a sidenote...can you believe how expensive mealworms are?! Geez.
